I rocked pigtails last year pretty well. I wish I knew how to do that hipster-wannabe french braid across the hairline. Particularly now because my bangs are currently a disaster, but I think its a cute style for the fest. like this (Can't believe I'm posting a picture of some reality TV skank, but she was the first who popped up in the google image search).: and HG--hope you enjoyed your shopping spree! Stormy--find anything good? They had some cute high-waisted skirts the other day.

I ended up with two cute sundresses. They are 100% cotton, very lightweight, and very comfortable. And they are easy to layer with leggings underneath or a cardigan on top to adjust for the weather. I am really happy I found exactly what I was looking for, and they were pretty inexpensive. Here is something similar, I couldn't find the exact picture but this is close. The cut is basically the same. I got one in an olive colored pattern and one that is more blue with a lot of flowers.

Do these chip like normal nail polish? That is my biggest problem, it chips so fast I just don't even bother.

Even with a top coat?

Sally Henson has disappointed me in the past. She chips on me. I was waiting on a prescription at Rite-Aid and the glittery and moderately priced Xtreme Wear caught my eye.
I gave it a go. It was definitely a no.
I rarely ever paint my nails because the chipping drives me bananas, but I've been seeing a lot of good things about Essie's line. Anyone tried it?

I used to avoid nail polish because of the chipping, but really it comes down to getting what you pay for. Essie and OPI are great brands (most salons use OPI) that rarely chip on me, but they are going to be a little on the pricey side. Also, I've grown to realize that a top coat really does make all the difference. I use Seche Vite's fast dry top coat, which is great, but like I said you get what you pay for.

I was wondering what to do when it got cold, leggings are a wonderful idea. I think I'm definitely going to be grabbing one or two sundresses and praying it doesn't rain.

Chaco you are probably right, I think my problems stem from cheap nailpolish.

I am loving that dress so much. I was wondering what to do when it got cold, leggings are a wonderful idea. I think I'm definitely going to be grabbing one or two sundresses and praying it doesn't rain. I was really happy to find that dress, it was basically exactly what I was looking for. I like maxi dresses and am tall enough to pull them off. One of my favorite things is that they are 100% cotton. I was just looking at the Target website and I saw a couple of cute maxi dresses but they are polyester and rayon and I am all about comfort. The cotton is soft and lightweight and I can dance and walk around without feeling weighed down. And it was 24.95 and I think that is a pretty reasonable price. There were some I found for 19.95 but I didn't like the cut and the way they fit as much. In past experience when does rain it is usually not for very long. It sprinkled a little last year and once at night it rained, but I enjoyed sleeping to the sounds of rain on my tent. With the exception of the year when it hailed, it has been pretty good. Just be prepared, I always suggest lightweight layers and make sure to get a poncho. It will be two dollars well spent if you need it, and not a big investment if you don't.

I'm only 5'4 but I think maxi dresses still look alright on me, it might help that i'm basically a stick, though.
Last year's rain was perfect. I didn't even know it had rained at night I was so fast asleep. And when it drizzled during MGMT is was a godsend. I was in the pit and it was so hot because of all the people and how much we were dancing, I thought I was gonna die until the rain came. It was a perfect moment, actually.
I bought a poncho and just returned it after Sasquatch. It really is a good thing to have with you
Man, I really can't wait to be back in front of that stage

I'm sure you'll be given the chance to bring it up at another time. This is the girly thread, weight is discussed quite often.

That can't be too difficult. You can go the crazy route or you can go the ballsy route; your choice.
