><yaaaaawn>< Oh, hey guys how's shi... What, seriously this bullshit went on all night?
Switch, the damage is done as far as you're concerned. You've been such a petulant little ass so consistently for so long that we're all just frustrated by the fact that you post so damn much. We KNOW that ALL you want to do is talk about Sasquatch (as you mention in just about every single one of your posts), but check this shit out: nobody wants to talk about Sasquatch with you. Primarily because you're still being a petulant little ass.
So okay look, we're tired of asking you to leave. For your own sake, seriously, and for everyone, you're just going to have to get used to the fact that people are going to talk shit about you and me and everyone else here - but mostly you, and that is your own damn fault - because that's how this kind of thing works. We're a big group of highly opinionated people with no business, social or familial obligations to one another; we have access to each other at all times, including when we're emotional, drunk, stoned, coked up, after the loss of a pet, WHAT THE FUCK EVER - my point is that you aren't special here, so just fucking roll with it.
Ok? For christ's sake, this board has been a bloated, lifeless corpse stuck under a log in a river since you got here. Congratulations because even if you aren't a troll, you are the most successful troll of all time. Let's do something else for a while, ok? TRUCE. Legit truce, legit Shut the Fuck Up truce, straight up Next Time I Rip On You, It'll Be A Joke Just Like Every Other Time So Don't Fucking Bitch Out Like You Always Do truce.
Cool? Awesome.

Sounds good. I get your point, I really do. Its just that I feel obligated to defend myself. You guys keep telling me to cool it and to stop being a dick but I am not the type of person that will let people get the last word if that last word is a personal attack on me. I understand the structure of the board and I understand that you are sick of my rants. It takes two parties to keep the rant going though. I get it though. I will cool it.

Careful Horn, that suggestion didn't turn out too well for Billy Batts.

HG or GWH, Whatever you are calling yourself these days, I would be very careful uttering those words, if you get whacked, we wouldn't know who did it, there would be a long line of suspects, most of the posters here would be under suspicion.

What about Tool as a headliner for Sasquatch? It's rumored they will release a new album this year and tour to support said album. I realize they've never played Sasquatch but they played one of the most epic concerts of all time at the Gorge back in 2007. A concert which I'll proudly say I inspired/convinced over 20 people to travel 18 hours from our home state to see. I know its the best show I've seen at the Gorge. Plus Tool has been playing festivals at each of their last tours. They're an act to maybe put in the 'Remote Possibilities' section. Buuuuuut they'd make the other acts look bad so Tool will probably stay out of it.
My Other Hopefuls... Soundgarden Pearl Jam Red Hot Chili Peppers(have they ever played the Gorge?) White Stripes Radiohead Black Keys(maybe not as a headliner, but I'd love to see'em there) Tom Petty Kings of Leon(why not?) Daft Punk
So here's to hoping the announcements for this lineup will make it worth the 18 hour drive and yet another memorable birthday for me at Sasquatch. I don't love Foo Fighters, but I definetly don't hate them. I have alot of respect for Dave Grohl and the fighters. I think they'll put on an excellent show.
OH GOD NO PLEASE DONT SIGN THESE FUCKING BANDS Kanye West Ben Harper(worst headliner I've seen at any Gorge concert EVER) Coldplay Modest Mouse Basically any band that played the main stage on Monday May 25th, 2009.
Other bands I hope to see, but are not headliners. Devil Makes Three Devil Makes Three The Black Angels Chromeo(totally watched them over shitty ass Ben Harper a few years back) M.I.A. Streetsweeper Social Club And did I mention that I would love to see Devil Makes Three there?
I don't live in the Northwest region so I don't always know alot of the bands I see at Sasquatch but it's amazing becuase every time I've gone I've returned home with new music to listen to. I love Sasquatch, hopefully they create a kickass lineup so I can enjoy my 30th birthday at one of my favorite places in the country.

I'd rather see a fat man farting on a snare drum live than see Ben Harper there again.

Don't hate just because you're a horned grandmother whose Sex is NOT on fire. You're right. I actually would love to hear a bunch of white trash assholes sing about gonorrhea. Again. Anyway, Kings of Leon (one of the worst band names in history, by the way) headlined the Gorge all by their stupid-ass lonesomes last summer so fortunately they probably won't ever be back to Sasquatch. I'd love to see TV on the Radio at Sasquatch again. For my money, one of the five best sets I've ever seen at the Gorge.

See, the reason is that I8 really loves Modest Mouse. Even their really shitty stuff. He's a Modest Mouse 'diehard', if you will.
I think 'Ghosts n' Stuff' is pretty neat, but in general I'll take it or leave it.

Thanks for the update mister, it 's a shame that ALMOST ALL the bands you mention were not listed somewhere, say the first page of this thread....oh wait.
The first page of the thread is being updated as names come up.
Tom petty has played the gorge before by himself, so I did not add him.
Tool, - don't think it fits the vibe, but I will add if they announce any tour dates.

Just forget the second half of the post and lets support Tool for Sasquatch 2011!
You can't honestly tell me you'd rather see Modest Mouse than RHCP. Is this uuuhhh weekday? What day is this? It must be april fool's day. I think it'd be a breath of fresh air to see a new band like the Peppers at Sasquatch.
Anyways, I'm not exactly crossing my fingers for Kings of Leon I just think they're a far superior alternative to some of the other bands we could potentially be subjected to. They're faaaaaaaaar down the list of bands I love, but I've heard they put on a pretty good live show and I missed'em in 2009 when I came for Jane's Addiction/NIN. Which by the way was bullshit that Jane's headlined over NIN. The 2006 NIN performance was face meltingly awesome.
I may get some hate for this, but I wouldn't complain if they threw a metal act in the mix somewhere....

"Those fresh faced young lads could really bring a healthy helping of 'oomph' to the proceedings come Memorial Day, I daresay! Buh-huh! Buhhhh-huh-huh-huh! Yes indeed, Chilly Willie and the Red Hot Peppers, just the boys to mix things up a touch, no? Buhhh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huhhhhhh!"
