Are we all aware that they have a whole new lead singer and that they are so irrelevent at this point and should have been sent to bed long long ago???

Regarding Tool, it's no secret that Adam and Justin have been writing and that the band has been in the studio. It's also confirmed that Tool is playing the Big Day Out festival in Australia/New Zealand. They also played the Mile High Music festival last year and were rumored to bring new music to the table then, but they didnt.
If Tool follows their standard cycle, which is roughly 4-5 years between albums, then we should see a new album this year. If they don't play Sasquatch I hope like hell they at least play the Gorge this year.
If Roger Waters hasn't played the Gorge then why not make a push to see him at Sasquatch?

Swirling rumors of a At the Drive In reunion, they would be an extreme longshot. Swirling rumors? Where? Who is discussing that? Why? Where is it coming from?

I think Alice In Chains have been fairly successful in their resurrection. They still have Jerry Cantrell and he sang some of the songs as the lead vocalist even when Layne was alive.

Roger Waters has played at the Gorge. I was at that show and it was quite an experience. Imagine 20,000 guys in their 50's getting loaded for the first time in 20 years....puking and passing out everywhere.

If Roger Waters hasn't played the Gorge then why not make a push to see him at Sasquatch? Because he has shows in Belgium on May 27th and 28th and a show in France on May 30th. I know, I know. His schedule is open on Sunday night, but don't plan on seeing the Wall torn down at Sasquatch...

Roger Waters has played the Gorge. He could again. He won't be at Sasquatch; even if he weren't one of the most expensive live acts in the world, he's definitely more of a Coachella thing.

It happened. I remember one guy passed out in the walkway with a trail of puke going all the way down the pathway towards the main floor.

In the event that you're being serious, or that other posters think you're being serious, this thread shouldn't exist just for people to create rumors that aren't even rumors. There's a fucking wish list thread for you to ejaculate all over the board without reprimand. Use it.

I was responding to the fact that I suggested everyone start backing their rumour claims with links, then in the next post someone did the opposite. Swirling rumours about ATDI that may or may not exist.

Qotsa may be more unlikely now. They are still in the early stages of their album and "aren't in a rush to get anything done". Also Duran Duran are "locked" in for the second day of coachella according to Billboard so maybe they could be a possibility? Too big? The strokes are also heavily rumored by the media for a day at the festival so it kind of makes me lean more towards them as a stronger possibilty. Source: FMQB.

I'm not just trying to throw out a random band here but what about Devo? They are doing shows again. My friend lives in LA where they play a lot and he says their show is pretty awesome. They have 3 dates in March down in Cali.

*SHRUGS* I saw Alice in Chains live at the Sturgis Biker Rally and they were awesome. If you closed your eyes you'd have no idea it wasn't Lane on stage singing. They sounded great and played all the great AiC songs. Their new ablum, released late 2009, kicked ass. The PNW is their homeland, why not get'em on stage.
