I could support Tool for Sasquatch 2011. Even though I bashed Tool in a previous post I could support them for Sasquatch too. Danny Careys side project Volto! would be cool too because it is always an amazing show when you have Danny Carey playing drums.

I love how funnygrrl is totally policing this thread, even if that policing is totally arbitrary.

Well we really have no clue who is headlining as of yet, so how Can I say that Soundgarden has a better chance of headlining Than Tool when we don't know. I am just updating bands that had been mentioned( and people want to see them at Sasquatch) until we can completely eliminate them when we find out touring info and stuff.
And you really to want to talk about policing? you want to talk about policing? you?

Know asked you to start this thread and you did and now you are like lording over it and it's funny. You were like, I'm not gonna add Tool. And then someone else said the word 'Tool' and you were like, hmm... Okay. I'm convinced, I shall make this change. ARBITRARY. HILARIOUS. ARBITRARIOUS. Everyone should police their own threads, it would probably cut down on a lot of the bullshit around here.

Its like my baby, I can't leave it for a second, it can't survive without me.
I think I am a little obsessed.
Plus it was 3 people who asked for tool, it's not arbitrary, if it was 2 i could understand.

If NIN and Jane's Addiction can headline Sasquatch than Tool certainly can as well, I don't know how they 'don't fit the vibe'
Were any of you at their show in 2007? If so where do you rank it as far as shows you've seen at the Gorge or in general? Alot of Tool die-hards and Gorge die-hards that I know have called it one of the greatest shows they've seen.
What about Roger Waters/Pink Floyd? Too big for Sasquatch?
At the Drive In?
What about Alice in Chains?
Another sidestage band that would be fuckin awesome to see - Floater.

Roger Waters would be my #1 pick to see headline at the Gorge, Sasquatch or no.
Pink Floyd doesn't exist anymore.
At the Drive In... fuck dude, after the Volta debacle I sure fucking hope not.
Alice in Chains - you're starting to sound like that one guy who loves 90's radio bands. Exclusively. What was that asshole's name?

That TooL show was definitely one of my favorites of the 10 or so times I've seen them. The Gorge is always amazing. If ATDI is making music again, I would absolutely LOVE to see them live! Still pissed I missed them when I had the chance.

If it hasn't already been discussed/proven already, can we please add links for rumours of bands putting out a new album or touring or reforming or whatever. No more of making shit up about tool or Outkast putting out a new album*. k greaaaaaat.
* I know the rumours of tool/outkast aren't made up. just think we should start supporting claims that haven't been discussed ad nauseum

Swirling rumors of a At the Drive In reunion, they would be an extreme longshot.

My brother went to that Tool show and said it was one of the best shows he has ever seen. Of course he was on LSD and Ecstacy so I'm sure it would have been the best show ever regardless of who was playing. As for Alice in Chains. As much as I hate HG to rip on me, I wouldn't mind seeing Alice in Chains. They probably don't belong at Sasquatch though.

I just saw them a couple months ago (for free thankfully)... They sound exactly like the albums, a la KoL from Sasquatch 2009. In other words, it wasn't that good, and not worth wasting a headliner/sub headliner slot on.

Didn't Gunther say that he saw Alice in Chains a couple months ago, and that it was one of the worst shows he's ever seen?
