So when we had that wicked 22 course dinner in LA after Coachella, my gf did a wine/beer pairing with it and this brewery was one of the selections for the meal and it was fantastic. I found this taster pack in the store. It's pretty damn expensive ($30 for a 6 pack), but I've had two so far and they've been incredibly delicious. I love me some belgian style beers.

I am trying very hard to get into Belgian style beers. I haven't gotten there yet but I am determined!

I do NOT dig Belgian beers.

Me neither. I had a triple-belgian at a beerfest in Montana once and it tasted like dog vomit.

Europeans are afraid of hops, I've come to realize.

I have a special place in my heart for Busch. I do too, and your post reminded me of that. I sexually picked up a six pack on the way home and it tastes AMAZING.

My love for belgian beers would probably explain my hatred for IPAs.

Co-op liquor store on 16th Ave NW. They've got a fantastic beer room.

As a Coug, I have a large place in my heart for Busch. As for Belgian beers....just tried another (Pelican Saison) and still trying to find my love for them. Not coming easy. I guess it would be easier most likely to go to BELGIUM for me to find good ones

For the St. Bernardus, their Christmas Ale is pretty damn tasty. I've got a single Westy 12 I'm waiting to try. I feel like drinking it alone would be a waste. Gotta find a Belgian fan or two to share it with. Maybe a tasting with Orval and Chouffe or something.
Ro, I had that Elysian split shot espresso milk stout tonight. Highly recommended to any of you Cappuccino Stout fan folks.

Co-op liquor store on 16th Ave NW. They've got a fantastic beer room. The one downtown on 10th/11th ave has a good beer selection as well, for you downtownies.

The downtown co-op is good but the one on 16th is a lot bigger and has a 30 ft wall of beer awesomeness.
