Thought I was done with shows for the year, but just made a last minute decision to go see Nero and Deadmau5 tonight!
Has anyone seen his "unhooked" set up yet?

Unhooked just means no cube. He'll just be using whatever visuals the venue provides.

A cool thing about that is that he'll have a lot more freedom to do whatever he wants without working within the confines of a programmed production.

I don't have a problem with 'play buttons'. Death Grips used 'em, the fucking Residents use 'em (to a certain extent).
I don't even have any real problem with Deadmau5. I saw him and I had a fuckin' blast. Danced my torso in half. I just think he's an asshole, and that's really all there is to it. I just get a nickel every time I talk shit about dubstep.

Pregamed HG's bday Built To Spill show last night by watching Doug Martsch DJ an awesome, sweaty dance party at my favorite bar. I had a top ponytail. Danced like a foo.
