I don't know if I can swing it but on Wednesday Black Breath, Theories and He Whos Ox Is Gored are playing at Narwhal. That is the little bar on the bottom floor of Unicorn in Capitol Hill. Black Breath seems huge to be playing there. I am going to the day game for the M's earlier on so I am debating on staying down there for the show. I just don't know if I have the energy for a work night show this week though. If you live on the hill and want to see some awesome heavy music that is the show for you.

Not sure how much they are charging but I heard the first band goes on around 9. There isn't a pre-sale for tickets at all. I would guess $10

Boris, The Atlas Moth and SubRosa at Stage 112 on August 14th. That's a killer lineup.

I almost pulled the trigger on NIN/Soundgarden tickets today, but couldn't bring myself to do it. I think I'll wait and see what my financial situation looks like after Sasquatch, then decide. If it was anywhere but Poop River, it wouldn't even be a question.

I totally would if not for the fact that that's like three hours longer of a drive and, as much as I hate Shit River, I've got more social connections in that area. Why couldn't they just have it at the Gorge and make everything better?! Goddam Dave Matthews. If I ever see him, I'm gonna jab my thumb into his eye.

Modest Mouse just announced more dates through Canada in July and August. www.modestmouse.com/It looks like since they're playing Pemberton there'll be no Vancouver date, but I think I'll be making the trek out to Calgary. Has anyone seen a show at the MacEwan Concert Hall in Calgary? How big is it?

SO FUCKING STOKED!
About to make a quick trek to Portland for the Helms Alee, Kowloon Walled City, Gaytheist and Rabbits show at East End. All-star lineup of noisy rock. Music starts at 9:30 and it is only $10.

Has anyone seen a show at the MacEwan Concert Hall in Calgary? How big is it? It's a great venue. Standing room only, good sound and holds about 1000 people. I've seen tonnes of shows there, including Modest Mouse on their last tour. Good times.

Going to the Big Sky Brewery show. Stoked to finally see a good show announced for the Big Sky Brew summer concert series. Up until now it was just a bunch of reggae rock and reggae.

Modest Mouse is really doing a great job of milking as many tours out of We Were Dead... as humanly possible.
