I have never been to Josephine but I hear it is like Black Lodge. It is BYOB. The bands that are playing are on Good To Die Records. I have been a fan of everything on this label. They are all "heavy" bands. I have seen Rabbits, Monogamy Party and Brokaw before and am super stoked to see them again. Rabbits goodtodierecords.bandcamp.com/album/bites-ritesMonogamy Party monogamyparty.bandcamp.com/Brokaw brokaw.bandcamp.com/The guy that runs Good To Die Records used to do a blog under "Seattle Rock Guy". He has a passion for a certain style of music and loves the live show. If you go to the Josephine on Friday you are going to get some pretty heavy tunes and a killer show.

I saw Sightings at Josephine and it was one of the best "heavy" shows I've ever seen. And I think you can smoke doobies in there on the reg.
I'm in for Friday as well.

Marilyn Manson is coming. I've always wanted to see him, but it's the same night as Tomahawk. Definitely going with Tomahawk.

And he's small enough now to be playing the Roseland. I think I'll skip Tomahawk. They'll be festival whores next year anyway.

Glitterbang is playing a New Year's gig at Q. I have not been to Q. Apparently it is an expensive nightclub? I love Glitterbang, but .... ehhhhh

I am glad that you like some of the tunes. It always feels good to see people spending money on bands that don't really make money from music in the first place. They just do it because they love to do it and are good at it! By the way, the track "You Didn't Invent Sex" has been stuck in my head pretty much all year long.

Well shit, the Boys Noize show in Seattle that was supposed to happen on the 11th got cancelled. Wonder what that was about.
EDIT: That seems to be the only date cancelled from his current tour. May seems way too far out for any kind of radius clause to affect a December show, but I think it might shed a little more light on the rumors of him being at Sasquatch. Doesn't AZ book shows for the Neptune anyway? That would make sense...
