Re: San Diego, I only moved here 3 months ago and don't know much about the venues. For a good sampling of what's going on musically check here: www.sandiegoreader.com/music/shows/ They don't list every venue but do cover a good number of them. In particular they're shy on the electronic music listings, which I generally have to look at the venues' web pages to discover.

Would have been funnier if you had a copy of Person Pitch. I had Deak sign MPP even though he wasn't even on it. I just wanted to collect them all on my favorite album of theirs. Maybe I shoulda had them sign Feels or Strawberry Jam.

So, Animal Collective has played the same set at the first three shows of their tour with the only exception of moving "Honeycomb" up earlier in the set last night. It will be interesting to see if they play the same set twice in Oakland. Drew - are you still going to both shows?

Haha shit. I bet the kids who caught both the SEA and PDX shows are kind of pissed about that.

Haha shit. I bet the kids who caught both the SEA and PDX shows are kind of pissed about that. Most Animal Collective fans understand they will play very similar if not identical sets night to night. They craft their set list like they would craft an album's track list, and they always have enough production they have to play along to. The two Oakland shows are going to be nearly identical as well.

I don't have a ticket for tomorrow, I'm going to decide tonight if I'm going to both. How about you?

I know they'll probably play the exact same set both nights, but I'm kinda bummed the setlist doesn't have anything pre-Water Curses. I was hoping for...well a lot, but especially For Reverend Green or Banshee Beat or Purple Bottle.

Am I the only person who likes to be surprised (pretty much yes, I know we've all discussed this many times in regards to youtube vids). Peacebone is pre-water curses. It's okay, I know you overlooked that. They played "Did You See The Words" and "We Tigers" at Coachella last year, but nothing from either album on this tour.

Also, Geno is my new favorite boarder because he FUCKING LIFTED ME UP TO CROWD SURF FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. Bucket list, dude. I don't think you realize how huge that was for me. Unlike that crowd who definitely realized how huge I was for me.

The only time in my life I crowdsurfed was to Buckcherry. Clearly I'm the winner here.

Yeah, I'm going! I think I'm going to try to be at about the same spot as for St. Vincent.
