How was the show? Travis Hay felt the need to live Tweet the entire fucking thing. Next time you see him at a show, please talk to him and get him off his fucking Blackberry or whatever. I don't want to unfollow him but god damn dude, shut up and listen.

I was near Travis in the crowd at sub pop 20 when wolf parade was playing. Dude was belligerently drunk with 2 other idiots and nearly ruined the show. He spent most of his time taking photos and yelling loudly at his friends while one of his friends spent the whole show harassing some girl in front of him.
The best part was seeing him write a review for wolf parade a couple days later

Saw Kaki King in Vancouver last night and my mind was blown. If you get the opportunity to see her I suggest you do. She is one of the most talented and interesting guitarists around (she is really funny too talking inbetween songs).

I saw crystal castles on tuesday at the showbox sodo. They are one of my favorite bands but this was the first time I saw them live. I wasn't quite sure what to expect because I have heard that alice just screams for 120 minutes and does a whole bunch of blow.
Yet that was not what they were like at all. They were so damn good. One of my top 5 concerts ever. I was front row the whole time and Alice even held my hand <3.
PS Alice was performing with crutches and a broken ankle, and she still tore it up. She is nuts!

Did she have an almost gone half gallon of vodka at her feet and start the show 25 minutes late? If not, that would explain the good show. The above circumstances were what occured at sasquatch, which may or may not be where you heard she just screams for 120 minutes.

Haha what's with this "whole bunch of blow" rumor also? I must say, all of this polarizing chatter about their live show has me pretty intrigued to check them out at Coachella now.

Yeah this was the portland show for me. It was awesome

Geno, did you end up getting a ticket for The Big Four show? I just bought a pair last night... Came to a hefty $231!

That's just what a friend had told me. He had seen crystal castles twice and he suspected that she was coked out both times. (I'm sure she was actually just really drunk though) And yes check them out at coachella, even if you don't enjoy their recorded material. They put on a helluva show.

At least all of those bands are still touring often enough. Would be pretty insane to see them at one giant festival though.

OK folks. They just announced the Foo Fighters and Motorhead to play Missoula, MT on Thursday May 26th. Maybe loud Friday just got a little louder. Maybe I just found a reason to sell my Friday ticket.

Adam Zacks is too cheap. Maybe the Seattle Rock Orchestra can perform Motorhead's greatest hits though?

Foo Fighters/Motorhead/Biffy Clyro. We'd totally be getting stiffed if we got Biffy and no Motorhead!

Biffy Clyro is going to get a lot of shit at any show he plays... Unless its a Muse show.
