Sasquatch borders were at the Sigur Ros show in Seattle? Bait. EDIT: My lethargic response time results in Pea beating me to the punch.

I will not be able to make it due to work but Lesbian is playing a show at The Barboza tomorrow night. They are taking off to Europe after this one so if you are a fan of heavy psyche progressive metal you might want to check this one out.

You familiar with Absolute Monarchs? My buddy just saw them at one of the free Seattle Center mural shows and said they were totally killer. He sent me their album but I still need to give it a listen.

He sent me their album but I still need to give it a listen. They are awesome. One of the bands on Good To Die Records. They (Good To Die) have put out 7 albums in less than a year from mostly heavy bands. Absolute Monarchs get more love in the KEXP realm but they are killer. one of the dudes is in My Goodness. If you are going at all let me know and I will meet you there!

Of course dude, they are in my top 10 bands to see live. You will see me in rare form that night, in that I will be bouncing all-the-fuck around that Showbox, which will be interesting because that room is a lot bigger than the rooms I'm used to bouncing all-the-fuck around in at Lightning Bolt shows. I will likely lose 10 pounds.

So last night there was a semi boarder meet up and it was sweet! There was a fundrasier thingy at a local watering hole and a bunch of local bands played Beastie Boys tunes all night. Good friggen time, but I am paying for it this morning. Holy moly.

I'm in surprisingly good shape today. I think it's because there were no shooters involved last night.

Last night I watched Our Lady Peace play songs from 15 years ago, even though they've released 6 (SIX!?) more albums since the last time anyone cared. They were actually pretty good, surprisingly.

Of course they fucking did. About the only song they didn't play that I remember liking was Naveed.

Yah! Fuck yes to that. That is a seriously radical fucking song. As a U.S. American, I don't have much use for Our Lady Peace, but that one album is still in rotation after twelve years.

I'd rather stick five dollars into one of those machines where you use a claw to try to win a stuffed animal.
