Jon Benjamin tickets purchased. Thanks for the heads-up, Bjorrito! So this is the weekend after Coachella. I'm going to hang down South by da beach for a couple of days and then plan on taking a nice steady cruise back up PCH. If this works out, would you guys be down to hang and get all fucked up at Benjamin's Portland show?!

So this might be the greatest thing ever. A couple buddies and I just booked a trip to Vegas and I was just checking out concerts, and I stumbled upon this: www.summerlandtour.net/The Gin Blossoms! Everclear! Sugar Ray! Lit! There is no way I am not going to see that.

Garth Brooks is one of the few country artists that I would absolutely love to see. I thought he up and retired all over again, though?

For anyone that's attending Radiohead at Key Arena on Monday, have you heard any approximate stage times? I have a class that doesn't get out until 8:10pm and I'm wondering if I should plan on skipping it, because I want to get there early enough to buy a shirt or two and not be way in the back of GA.
Edit: All I can find is that 7:30pm seems to be the time that the opening band goes on, leading me to believe Radiohead would be on no later than 8:45 or so.

How can you not love Sleigh Bells? They are great. Crunchy, chuneful, unique, LOUD, and so much fucking fun.
Plus I've had a crush on Alexis Krauss since I was like thirteen.

I find their music to be absolutely cringe-worthy. I fucking hate cheap breakdowns, and their entire gimmick is a never ending string of cheap, recycled, Hot Topic-core breakdowns that were all written in 2004 by straightedge emo-gone-hardcore kids. Plus I think she has the most nauseating voice on earth. Just my 'pinion.

Fair enough. That kind of music works for me, though. Dan Deacon once described his music as being like 90% climax. I'm a huge fan of the slow burn, but I enjoy being pummeled now and then.
