Riiiiiight, right. We need to get a final head count on this shit so that I can make sleeping arrangements and stuff for everyone. Is anyone else planning on coming to hang out?
Also, uhhh, does anyone have a vacuum cleaner? Ours took a shit recently.

Not that I understand it, but I did know that. I require rhythm and bass with my psychedelic music. Nothing against them, I totally get why everyone loves Sigur Ros. It just doesn't speak to me.

I was going to borrow a vacuum from Alex or Mer. I know we will have at least Fig, Lucy, Burrito, and Nadine. We have a small bed in the extra bedroom, two couches, and floor room. If anyone wants the floor, do you have an air mattress? I might be able to borrow one but we don't have any.

Truth is we are unaccustomed to large-ish gatherings in our home, and the place looks a little bit like the professor's laboratory in Fraggle Rock. We'll make everyone as comfortable as possible, promise.

Burrito and myself will definetely be crashing Thurs after the show. I think he wants to stay and party with you guys for the weekend. I do too... but it's also a tradition to go camping that weekend as it is the peak of the perseids meteor shower, which I look forward to all year. We know of a sweet campsite in Cle Elum that has a big open field next to it perfect for viewing which I will probably end up doing unless all of us want to go camping together on Friday and/or Saturday somewhere in Oregon or Southern WA. I don't want to muck up any Portland plans though, just a suggestion. Then you wouldn't have to worry about hosting all of us at your place the entire weekend, too.

Dude what, that looks awesome. WHUT.
Considering that we'll have people staying with us, it's probably not a weekend that we can move the party out into the wilderness. But Burrito/Nadine: LET'S GO CAMPING. SOON.

Shit, I just realized Pretty Lights and the Melvins are playing the same night in Missoula. I would prefer seeing the Melvins, but I already have a ticket to Pretty Lights. I am also pretty sure the Melvins show will go until 2 AM at that venue, and I would have to be at work an hour away at 7 AM.

After further research, it looks like somehow my facebook events page fucked up the dates and put the shows on the same night when Pretty Lights is September 5, and the Melvins is September 9. Looks like I can make both shows. Even though I will be running off of 4 hours of sleep to see the Melvins. Fuck it though, it is the Melvins. Edit: It looks like there is one event date on facebook for all 51 dates of the Melvins tour. I just made a rookie mistake by believing what I saw on facebook.

Saw The Hip, Matt Good and 54-40 last night. It was pretty friggen awesome.
My goal today is to attempt to get Garth Brooks tickets at a reasonable price. The cheapest I have seen in the last few days was $500...each. Awesome.

Does Garth Brooks still fly? And does he perform any of the Chris Gaines material?
If the answer to either of these questions is 'no', then don't go a penny over $100.
