Hey Seattle board friendz (and possibly Portland ones as well):
I'm gonna be in Seattle from the end of Sasquatch until the next Saturday and was wonderin' if someone could gimme a list of all the good venues in Seattle so I can look at their calendars and see if there's any shows I might catch. I might also make a little trip to Portland as well, so know Portland venues might be nice as well.
Love, Lump

Not sure. It actually says, "Andrew, Scott, & Laura (Members of Elf Power & The Gerbils)."

Not sure. It actually says, "Andrew, Scott, & Laura (Members of Elf Power & The Gerbils)." Last week in Oakland, they played songs by The Gerbils and Elf Power in addition to some covers (including a Frank Sinatra song).

Saw Pulp last night. Absolutely amazing show. I thoroughly enjoyed their Coachella live stream, but this show was much different. Mr. Cocker was very, very drunk, and he went on Wayne-Coyne-ily between songs. But unlike with Mr. Coyne, I welcomed his commentary as it was entertaining and hilarious. During their first encore, they played "Glory Days" for the first time during their reunion. The guitarist who isn't Mark Webber (I forget his name) played with a broken hand. Pretty impressive. The show was 2 hours and 15 minutes, and they could have kept going all night. So much fun.

Did they play 'Lucky Girl'?? I'm not incredibly familiar with The Gerbils, but I don't think so. The highlight for me was "Glue."

I never thought i'd ever enjoy sitting in a theater with 1000 people all singing "I love you Jesus Christ", but that was definitely a highlight of my life.

Sigur Ros pre-sale tix purchased! Go do it fellas How much were the tickets? I plan on camping out on STG's website tomorrow morning starting at 9:55. I HAVE to go to this fucking show.

Sigur Ros in 2008 = top 10 shows of my life.
Ms. Burrito and I are literally going to "camp" out on our phones at Coachella to see these bad boys.

Still hate myself for waiting too long to buy tickets to that show. I had two tickets selected and all I had to do was click the "buy" button, but decided I would wait a couple more days until I got paid. Worst (and stupidest) decision of my concert-going life.

Similar scenario with myself: friends bailed as I was about to buy us all tix, waited a day, sold out, so I drove to Portland by myself and still had an insanely awesome time. Let's not fuck this up.
