I'm going to see the Twelves at the new Dicks on Dicks this Friday. It'll be my first time at the new venue, and my second time seeing them. Better get my dancing shoes polished up!

OOO! What are they calling the new Dick's? Wang's Oh, Geno! You're such a kidder. The new Richard's on Richards (or Dick's on Dicks as it was affectionately called) is now on Seymour Street, and while I was really hoping they'd call it "Seymour Dicks" they have gone with the slightly less offensive and far less imaginative Five Sixty Seymour, or just Five Sixty, which is the street address. At least it's easier to find? I've heard great things about the new location. Very tastefully designed and decorated. Multiple dance rooms and lounge areas that can support 3-4 (from what I hear) different DJs all doing their own thing. I even hear the European style open-bathroom can have it's own DJ. I think the bathroom is dubstep on Friday. I'll have to let you know more after I see for myself! The downside is that cover ranges from $10-20 most nights, which is a big reason why I haven't been yet. This gig is only $25 so I figure it's worth it.

Question: Who would you rather see if you had the choice between COLIN HAY or PINBACK?
(both are playing near me on April 26th)

If there's one thing I've learned from watching movies, it's to NOT clone yourself. Too many headaches and the lessons you learn are often not worth it.
Go to pinback.

thanx men.
(And to answer Hancho - Colin Hay was the singer from Men at Work - he's been doing a solo thing for a while, but still plays the classics.)

Yes! I enjoyed them! Though to be honest, I enjoyed the other opener, Buried Beds, a bit more.

She kept giving me random long hugs while moaning. But she was hot so it was fine.

Finn Riggins and The Worlds Greatest Ghosts tonight in Pullman. I am probably the only one that lives here so I guess I am just talking to myself.

It is. I was being selfish and wanted to wait until after the lineup pool deadline to tell any one.
