For real though, party at our house for Fuck Buttons/Kraftwerk. Two of my best friends will be in Seattle for the first time ever. Let's do it.

What's with the recent odd spots for hip hop shows in Portland lately? Schoolboy Q at the Crystal and now Mobb Deep at the Doug Fir.

The only time I've ever even bore the thought "I wish I lived in the UK" was just now when I saw Mount Kimbie opening for Fuck Buttons on songkick. I think that on an almost daily basis solely because of the shows that happen over there. Electronic music is taken so much more seriously over there, it really bothers me how little attention it gets in the states. I can picture it now, Rustu sitting alone in a dark basement with a cup of coffee and a glass of whiskey. A towel is wrapped around your neck to wipe the perspiration off your forehead. The dark basement may or may not be owned by a close relative. You pound your fists on the table over and over. You towel off your dripping forehead. You take a sip of whiskey, then a sip of coffee, then another sip of whiskey. Then you pound your fists on the table again, and scream out, "IT REALLY BOTHERS ME HOW LITTLE ATTENTION ELECTRONIC MUSIC GETS IN THE STATES!" It happens almost on a daily basis.

I was just notified that the conference I need to attend in Portland was rescheduled to Wednesday the 7th, which means I will be arriving in Portland on the 6th, which means I will be able to go to the Russian Circles / Gaytheist show, which means I will probably be hungover for the conference.

YES! I can't wait to see what you think of Gaytheist. Pretty sure you will be the only other boarder that has seen them. Then I can talk about how awesome they are with someone rather than echo myself. Oh, and that Russian Circles. They pretty good too

They pretty good too I know that I really like their albums, so I'm pretty excited to see them. They sound like they'll be a blast live. Ya, and Russian Circles too. Which reminds me, I haven't listened to Memorial in a while. Time to get back on that horse...

RICK ROSS BAWS! June 16th at the BMO centre. His tour dates have him at the Gorge in June? The fuck is that? Summer Jam. I just saw it yesterday. He is there on Saturday with a bunch of dinguses. But, Friday has Ice Cube, Bone Thugs, E-40, and Too $hort. Tickets are only $50 and I actually considered getting one. If I didn't know it was going to be packed with Summer Jam crowd, I probably would have. Edit: What is the plural of dingus? Dingi?
