I saw Wolf Parade on their first tour and it was one of the most unpleasant sets I've ever made it all the way through. I like Spencer Krug but I'm glad Wolf Parade is hanging it up for a while because I think he can do much more interesting stuff on his own. A good example being the 'Dreamland: Marimbas and Shit Drums' EP, that was incredible.

I think they're both a safe bet---both have put out albums in the last year that are getting a lot of hype, which is usually what gets someone a spot at Sasquatch. I saw Wavves in Vancouver in August; they put on a good show.

Yeah even ignoring the tour dates I expected them to be there but unless they add a Seattle date in the gap between portland and SF I think they're a pretty safe bet
