Thought maybe we could have a single place to keep track of all our drunken conversations with Adam Zacks (guy can't keep a secret), intimate shouting over the rail chats with annoyed Wayne Coyneses, and new fake posters who kick all sorts of ass in the game of "Guessing lineups as good as mine!". Legit rumors/confirmations can also be added here.
Maybe this has already been stated (and deservingly celebrated), but CoS has "Foster the People" down as "expected", who you say? Who knows who cares, but the internets is selling them as "Fantasy Barbecue Music", personally I think they are more second wave FBM.
I think I am already gonna like Foster the People's ridiculous descriptions better than any of their songs. -NME said: "Blessed with a knack for melody, boogie-time beats, and an ornate electronic detail, Foster The People craft a sound ideal for a fantasy backyard barbecue with The Strokes, Vampire weekend, MGMT, and Daft Punk as guests."

Foster the People seems to be a band with absolute zero history or information about them, leading me to think they were "assembled" to be some sort of an overnight success. I do really like the one (and pretty much only) single of theirs though.

^^^^^Check yourself!
They've been grinding it out in the Fantasy Barbecue scene for decades! Assemble a potato salad is what they can do!!

From the Bonnaroo post board. Hey, it's a slow news day...
"I emailed Arcade Fire last week asking them about Bonnaroo and US fests in general for next year and this was their response.
"We'll probably play Coachella and maybe some others. Won't be set in stone for a while.
thanks!"

Good thread, I hope it gets stickied at the top, and I also hope that people keep it semi-legit.

I really like Foster The People's single. We'll see if there are any other decent songs.

never could really get into them, but that's pretty awesome! good way to stir up some buzz around the festival.
