David Bowie or Depeche Mode. Maybe Queens of the Stone Age in some capacity?

Little bit Lamb of God, a little bit Silverstein... yeah a little bit.

I don't have anything to say to you. Your personality creates an emotional blind spot in my brain.

One?
Tom Petty.
Actually, fuck picking one.
Arctic Monkeys as well, although they might not be big enough this side of the Atlantic to headline.

The last time they played Sasquatch they acted like they owned the place and complained about the audience. I will be happy if they never come back.

Arctic Monkeys would be lucky to close the Wook.

Yeah I'd love to see the arctic monkeys but they would be closing the wookie or playing mainstage around 5
dunno what all the hate about their set at sasquatch is about. I wasn't a fan before that show but had a great time at it and didn't think they were being pricks or anything

I think Arctic Monkeys would get the slot Vampire Weekend got last year they could sub-headline one of the nights on the mainstage

I think Arctic Monkeys would get the slot Vampire Weekend got last year they could sub-headline one of the nights on the mainstage no they really wouldn't unless something major changed. Arctic Monkeys played the showbox at the market last time they were in town, Vampire Weekend played 2 nights at the paramount. That's a huge difference in popularity and cost. Arctic Monkeys are huge in Europe but they are still pretty mid-range here

I though Vampire Weekend played Marymoore Park. You have very valid points I just have a hard time seeing them playing less than the slot i mentioned earlier

The show at marymoore was canceled because someone in the band was sick so they switched it to two shows at the paramount a few months later

VW really came through for their fans after that cancellation. Pretty cool of them to reschedule as quickly as they did.

VW really came through for their fans after that cancellation. Pretty cool of them to reschedule as quickly as they did. Gah they were so amazing in Portland when they came. They played all but 2 of their songs, and they sounded exactly like they did on the album. It was raining extremely hard but nobody gave a shit it was Vampire Weekend.

I always went back and forth on how I felt about them, but after their Sasquatch set I was completely won over. Such a fun fun band.

I got tickets to the marymoore show, but then I couldn't go to the make up it really sucked. I really liked the first album, but I never could get into the second album until I saw them live as sasquatch.
