Either David Bowie or The Replacements would be amazing
as far as bands that might be touring: Radiohead would probably be it

Radiohead without a doubt. Or if Led Zeppelin ever reunited one last time.

If they turned the main stage around, so it's facing the river...

I AM BACK & RADIOHEAD.
If I can list two others, Eric Clapton and Incubus. If bands not being together wasn't a prob... Zeppelin, The Kinks, Sigur Ros, and Pink Floyd.

If they turned the main stage around, so it's facing the river... i would swiftly convert to a coachella attendee if the gorge didn't have that that spectacular view.

I was just saying they should go big. If the Rolling Stones thing turns out to be true would that increase the chances for Radiohead at Sasquatch?

Yes. The Stones and Radiohead have worked together for the last eight years to establish an egalitarian joint touring schedule based on a 'spread the love'-type philosophy.

That seems pretty far fetched... I was thinking more like if Coachella burns 5 million on the stones then maybe they wouldn't have enough for Radiohead as well.(unless they plan on not having an undercard)

This is only speculation (so in other words a pointless post), but...
I think the Stones would see playing Coachella as a two fold windfall in terms of cash money. They will still receive a pretty penny, but maybe not an amount that would cripple the fest's chance at still getting 2 more big headliners. The reason this works for them is exposure to one of the most easily manipulated audiences who are still giving money to the music industry. Being associated with the "Cool Coachella", especially if they are being presented as the grandfathers of the Strokes and what not will no doubt boost their relevancy (briefly) among young people. By relevancy I mean, people buying their shit.

That's funny, mothmonsterman, I don't know WHAT to expect from you because I don't know who the hell you are. That was my little way of saying I'm jealous. Hating on your dear old Horned Gramma is so five minutes ago, by the way. Tres gauche.
