Agreed, they would be required to spread that shit out.
Death Cab, maybe not a headliner, but I would have said the same about MMJ a year ago

@ lol, I could see that happening if you got rid of the stokes and made arcade fire headline that night instead (too many headliners for sasquatch) then I could see a band like phoenix subbing for a less commercial act like portishead (kind of like MGMT before ween)

Agreed, they would be required to spread that shit out jane's addiction/NIN----Massive Attack/Pavement----Erykah Badu/Ben Harper(EB subbed under BH at sasquatch, but EB held a position that was higher than BH's that same year at 'roo. if either is truly a headliner, both are.) Sasquatch has no issue stacking headliners.

Sasquatch has no issue stacking headliners. The important part here is, "if either is a headliner." MA and Pavement are both sub-headline material at larger fests. Jane's and NIN was a special circumstance, and EB and BH are both subs at best at larger festivals. AF and Portishead, on the other hand, could both headline Coachella. That being said, you're right, they do the double-headliner thing a lot, and I'll be surprised if they don't do it this year, but I'd also be surprised if those were the double headliners.

I want Erykah doing all the headlining. Also I guess think Wilco will headline monday night as Jeff Tweedy would be a very sexy talanted counter part to godess Ms. Badu.

Badu acted like a self-righteous diva during Sasquatch 09. I will go to my grave hating myself for not being a Girl Talk fan back then and suffering through her set instead of watching him.

Peatrick, please don't go to your grave hating yourself over a missed 45 min Girl Talk set. Go to your grave hating yourself for hating yourself for missing a Girl Talk show. Badu needs a longer time slot to really do her thing. Saw her on the same tour @ Bonnaroo and it was fantastic!.
Also, lets all try not to go to our respective graves hating ourselves in 2011.

She really rubbed me the wrong way during that set, can't forgive her lol.
And andimac, you're actually the first person I've ever heard from that didn't think that the Girl Talk set was one of the best acts of the weekend.

I missed badu. I was too busy waiting to be blissed out by Explosions. THAT was one of the best acts of the weekend.

Explosions was mind blowing and I hope they come back this year. Highly unlikely tho. That was one of many times I'd seen Girl Talk that year and I just had a better time at others. I think I was completely burnt out by then, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Missing Explosions was easily the worst part about not going to Sasquatch last year for me

I saw them for the first time at coachella '07. I was freaking out over how awesome they were, but the rest of the crowd seemed very indifferent. Watching them kill their wookie spot was like watching Rocky knock out Ivan Drago in Rocky 4. It was good to see them get some recognition.

I only saw a bit of EB, but her performance just wasn't doing it for me. It quickly led to the coining of the term "Erika Badon't." I think under different circumstances I might really enjoy a concert of hers, but it wasn't happening at the time. The Girl Talk show was loads of fun, but I can see it not being so if you're (andi is) burnt out on him. It was my first time seeing him so I was loving it, but I've seen him twice since and his performances are pretty similar. As long as you don't burn out though you can count on his gigs being a good time.

agreed. wish my girlfriend at the time thought the same thing. she "got bored" so we had to leave their set early. should have left her there. That sucks though. Makes me thankful that my girl likes Explosions, whom, I hope make a return this year. If they were able to play mainstage in the evening or at sunset, it would be mindblowing.

Explosions are in Europe until the 25th, but curiously aren't playing Primavera. I'd say they're possible.
