Caught the Seattle Jónsi show on a total whim tonight and it was by far one of the most incredible and moving musical experiences I've ever attended. The recorded versions of his songs are NOTHING compared to the shear magnitude and power of their live translations. Every member on stage was absolutely brilliant, especially the drummer, who was one of the best I've seen in a long time. It was cool to see Jónsi's boyfriend Alex playing along for the entire set as well. Wonderful sound, lighting, and imagery all combined together. If the tour happens to come through your area make you sure you don't miss this!
This is from last night's show, but it was the same as the one I caught tonight. Watch all the way through...spellbinding.

Scalper: I paid $500, plus a $10 service charge, I'll give it to you for $94.23. Knowidyuh: I'll give you $20. Scalper: Are you insane? Ok, I'll give it to you for $55, final offer. Knowidyuh: (looking around). I don't see anyone waiting in line to buy your tickets. I'll give you $20. Scalper: Fine!
