I've seen MM 3 times and 2 of those times they were touring 'We were dead' or 'Good News'. Doesnt everyone know that when a band tours in support of an album, they generally play a lot of songs off that album? I know MM has a shit ton of older songs but its basically impossible for them to please everybody. Even when I saw them touring those 2 albums probably 40% of the songs they played werent off those 2 albums. You cant really expect them to rip through everything pre 2001 and then just play Float On to please the crowd when they have new fans that may only know those 2 albums (sad but true).
I'm with stamps though, The Moon and Antartica through and through followed by a few others like Broke, Never Ending Math Equation, Polar Oposites... that would make my life.
True, but if you were gunna camp for 1 day at 1 stage, that would be the day to do it IMO.
I'm gunna miss yeasayer and gayngs anyway since I dont want to miss a second of the FLAMING FUCKING LIPS, so really my sunday isnt all that different than souly's even though I will be jumping around stages during the day.
yeah, i saw that after i posted it. didn't bother to correct myself.
didn't bother to give her heat either. i will now...
i think it's a really silly idea to spend the entire Sunday at just one stage... you're totally gonna miss Reggie Watts, Gayngs, Yeasayer, & the 3rd set of DJ Anjali.
makes me sad.
I'd really like to be at the front for The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse, so sacrificing seeing DJ Anjali for the third time doesn't hurt my heart too much. Although, if I think I'll be able to get a really good spot AND see some other bands, I will dolphinately do so.
You and me Souly. I am planting myself in the front of the pit early and am not budging until Modest Mouse is over. My bladder will not like it after all the alcohol I will have consumed by that time, but my bladder will just have to take one for the team.
