Has anyone said anything about Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings? I have been listening to them today (youtube since I can't stream music at work) and I am really excited for this set! Girl has some pipes and some serious soul. I read that they put on a really fun show. I am hoping they don't play too early on Monday, but I think this sounds really fun.

Went through the entire set list (took me a while, only knew like 50% of the bands) and came up with this:
1. K-os 2. City and Colour 3. Twin Shadow 4. Foster The People 5. Deerhunter 6. The Radio Dept. 7. Best Coast 8. Yeasayer 9. Beach House 10. Modest Mouse
---And the rest of the bands I want to see (in any order)-----
Villagers The Antlers J. Mascis Rodrigo y Gabriela Pink Martini White Denim GIVERS Cold War Kids Sam Roberts Band Mad Rad Ratatat Tokyo Police Club Death Cab For Cutie Local Natives Sharon Van Etten Matt & Kim Against Me!
Heres hoping the times work out so can see most of these guys.

I give you about a minute before someone brings the angry cloud of hate down on your top 2.
Also: just a guess, but are you from Canada?

The main issue I have with that list is the flaming lips are no where to be seen.
But I do my best not to criticize other peoples taste in music, so I'll shut up now.

If you don't have The Flaming Lips on your list, something is wrong with you.

If you don't have The Flaming Lips on your list, something is wrong with you. Yep, kinda makes me feel bad for archers of loaf and yeasayer since they will probably be roughly the same time as the lips. Makes me wonder why the hell they are up against the lips. Most people who like those 2 bands (I'm guessing) probably like the lips and will probably see the lips over archers and yeasayer. Ahh the schedule makers always have to fuck with people.

I'm looking forward to / dreading the set times list coming out. I'm sure there's going to be some tough choices coming up for me (and lots of other peeps too)

The Top 10 Must See Power Rankings!
1 - FLAMING FUCKING LIPS - This one really shouldn't come as a surpise to anyone 2 - Bassnectar - One word. Glowpocalypse 3 - Foo Fighters - For better or worse they're the biggest band on the lineup. 4 - Chromeo - Probably going to be the biggest mainstage dance party of the festival 5 - Wolf Parade -This will be their final performance, folks. 6 - DFA 1979 - Like em or hate em they're still drawing the biggest buzz everywhere they're playing this year 7 - Modest Mouse - They're the biggest band on the lineup not named Foo Fighters 8 - Bright Eyes - WRONG KID DIED chant 9 - Biffy Clyro - Nobody seems to like them or even want them there. Therefore everyone will see them. 10 - Foster the People - 2011 Breakout Band. (Also... It will probably will the last time anyone will be able to say the saw them before they became huge and irritating)

Well, probably, but not for sure. Since I cant tell if you are being sarcastic, I'll explain why I think this.
The last mainstage show usually starts at 10, and the subheadliner starts around 830-845 (maybe a bit earlier since its the flaming lips) and the last bigfoot show is around 930, and the second last bigfoot show is around 8. Since Archers are second to last (assuming ratatat is a late night show) they will likely be on about the same time as the lips.
You might be able to get most of archers of loaf then run to the mainstage and hope it took ages to set up for the Flaming Lips and still catch all that show.
Like I said, stupid scheduling if thats the way it turns out.

That time I was serious; I've tried avoiding looking at rough schedules recently because they stress me out.
And don't knock caps lock, new guy.
