I personally think they are fantastic studio artists... but the live show... it's kind of letting the music down..

I really like there live sets. they dont have a predetermined set, just an idea, and sort of let it flow, I find that to be fun!

evanisovich Seriously? Its one thing to come to a conclusion about a band, but to act as if they somehow were putting you down when all the fuck youve gotta do is stand up and walk to your choice of three other stages. Cry cry, what a difficult life youve got. Art is what it is. Whether or not theres any conformed structure to it. Get a grip and relax. Wow. You sure took that one personally. I was just getting a rise out of people with shitty taste in music. Looks like my mission is accomplished. shitty taste is in the eye of the beholder. fuck some people like tpain and 50 cent. some people listen to owl city and think they're hip. for 'my' taste the more abstract and confusing the better.

"You don't have to go to College..."... Yes FD. Those are Animal Collective lyrics. Very good. Very impressive. Actually, what is very impressive is that I had the brain power last night to be aware this thread existed and somehow found it! Where is my trophy for this???

FD, you should reward yourself by listening to Animal Collective all fucking day long, obviously. I cannot agree with you more nor have said it better myself. They were complete and total bullshit. I had to walk away until they were completely done. In Hell, this should be the house band. I would rather shit hot knives and bludgeon my ears and eyes with icepicks than go through that goddamn nightmare again. This guy should really think his plan through. I reckon bludgeoning your ears and eyes with icepicks would only send you front row to the permanent AC show...wait a minute...he's giving me ideas.

"You don't have to go to College..."... Chuth. That sentiment with that song really had an impact on me.

Ah, those complaints about the AC set. That made me feel a little bit better about seeing Tim and Eric instead. (Though the friends I was with quickly went to that set after the 4th minute of the song whose sole lyrics were "diarrhea meow meow-meow meow")

Not like party crazy, but like why the fuck did you watch Diarrhea Meow Meow instead of Slippi crazy.

Well. I don't know. I saw them the year before at another festival. And I really wanted to see Tim and Eric. And that song was funnier than it sounds. You had to have been there. I hate having to say, "You had to have been there." It's such a cop-out. But you had to have been there. If you hate me for this, at least look at my review of AC at Pitchfork last year. IT's somewhere on here. I have to find it.

I understand some people's hatred for Tim and Eric in the same way that I understand some people's hatred for Animal Collective.
What I DON'T fucking understand is why on earth they scheduled Tim and Eric and Animal Collective at the SAME TIME. AT 4:FUCKING20pm. More than any other conceivable conflict, that one seemed like a deliberate fuck you.
