That's what I'm thinking, because almost all of the Wookie bands are now Bigfoot bands (except for Miike Snow and The Hold Steady, from my random checking). I also noticed that Nada Surf is now on the main stage, unless nothing is accurate at this point.
Maybe George Lucas has an issue with them using the word "Wookie"?

I am positive that they have just renamed the stage and that's why all of those bands have moved. Every band listed as playing the Wookie is now playing the Bigfoot.

Haha, I just finished doing the research and was about to write in all of the names of the ppl now playing this new stage... now it's all making sense...

aww man, wookie as a stage made more sense since bigfoot is just another name for sasquatch. I guess there's no other explanation but an angry George Lucas

stellar that we noticed the update in the few couple days of this transition. 400 points for everyone!
you know those droid commercials? they all say 'droid property of lucasfilms' or something similar. guarantee he is just trying to collect some rent money (like he needs it)

I wonder if this means that more bands are to be added to the Wookie stage in place of these bands being moved to the Bigfoot, or, maybe they decided to rename the Wookie and are just in the process of updating the site? Yeah, there's no way the Dirty Projectors are getting put on the tiny-baby I WROTE THIS SONG ABOUT mY GiRLFRIEND SHE LOVES IT STRUM STRUM STRUM stage. |
