The reaction to the Twitter post all social media posts of the lineup is almost unilaterally negative. I would not be surprised if this thing gets cancelled in a month. 1. The social media reaction to every Sasquatch lineup for the last 5 years was overwhelmingly negative to, so that doesn’t mean anything to me. 2. The majority of people who were tracking it at this point were probably Sasquatch vets expecting Sas 2.0, which this was never going to be. 3. The tickets are certainly going to be a lot cheaper than Sasquatch was and that is going to work in its favor. 4. Lists look better when they have at least four points. How much are they realistically going to sell tickets outside of Washington, though? I could see the local crowd getting excited over it but even at, say, $125 for the weekend the wider appeal is limited. I don't know how anybody from out of state looks at this and say, Bottlerock, and picks this. Without the rest of Cascadia's support, this thing is gonna wither before it gets started.

They confirmed on Twitter a few minutes ago that it will be mainstage only. Nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide.

This seems like a $100 festival that is going to cost me $300. I can’t fathom Bassnectar being THAT big of a draw. Coupled with Lil Uzi, young Thug, and Trippier Redd (the former two whom I secretly love); I just don’t see how this is remotely successful...

take this with a grain of salt though, it was one of dem crypto-snacks things ... 1 overlap with Fuji Rock is likely a less crypto thing though. 0 overlaps with over the rainbow, lol.

Just gonna leave this here... The first Sasquatch lineup. The first EotR lineup is better than this.

Just gonna leave this here... The first Sasquatch lineup. The first EotR lineup is better than this. This was back when it was a one-day festival, and though there's no information I could find about ticket prices, in 2006 (the first year it expanded to three days) tickets were $55/day. Here's that lineup, for reference.

Also apparently the rumor mill is saying about $200 + camping for EOTR.

Inside my body
The pressure is too great
And like some ancient geyser I erupt
My head hits the roof and my body breaks apart with the force of the liquid blast
Vomit bomb
Chunky shrapnel tears through everything around me
I am vomit vomiting
Honestly though, lines 3-6 + Bassnectar are ok for me for about $100. I don't know anyone below them or Trippie Red or w/e.
I wouldn't be able to convince anyone to come with me, so I'm probably out. Might try to convince people to do Cage, Beck, Spoon though.

Yeah that's not a fair comparison. The inaugural Sasquatch was a single day put on soley by a young Adam Zacks who had no idea what his experiment would/could evolve into. The modern festival as we know it wasn't even a thing yet. Live Nation is the biggest live music company on the planet and has unlimited resources, yet they seemingly have no idea how to put together a cohesive yet diverse festival. At least the first Sasquatch had a singular vision. This EotR mismatched puzzle of a lineup is a hot mess.
