I'm really trying not to get myself to hyped up by reading too much into Bon Iver's tour dates, but he has a lot of shows scheduled with nothing when close to the PNW. He's playing a mini festival in Michigan in April, then nothing after that. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything, but I feel like Foo Fighters / Bon Iver / Something For the Kids would make for a great set of headliners. Really no evidence to support it at this point, but it certainly feels good.

Am I out of touch in thinking that people don't really care about the Foo Fighters that much anymore? Personally, I'm not a fan and I really feel like their music hasn't aged well. Dave Grohl seems to be a chill dude tho???
Of course they're still big headliners but the thought of them playing fills me with meh thoughts

Their shows look like a lot of fun, and I'd really like to see them. I probably wouldn't buy a ticket to one of their shows, so that's why I'd like to see them headline a festival.

Their generic sort of radio rock isn't really my cup of tea, but they are a fine rock band. They are undeniably one of the biggest bands on the planet and would be a huge get for Sasquatch. Their live shows are supposed to be great and, like the sentient robot above said, I probably wouldn't buy a ticket to one of their shows, but I would me more than happy to see them headline my favorite festival.

Their 2011 set was fine since I actually kinda enjoyed Wasting Light, but I would be pretty bummed if they headlined again with all the crap they've been putting out since then.

Foo Foo is one of those big confusing bands for me. They are huge, but I've never met someone who regularly listens to them.

Has anyone been listening to Greta Van Fleet? I think they'd be fun for an early afternoon Yeti/Bigfoot set, but they're in Germany the weekend after Sasquatch, so probably unlikely.

Yessss, I only discovered them like a week ago but they are so good. I know they are kind of just a shameless rip off of Led Zeppelin, but they sound amazing and supposedly put on a great show. I would love to have them at Sasquatch. Also, re: Foo Fighters, I guess I would consider myself a fan since I've been listening to them on and off for like 15+ years, though I wouldn't really list them as a favorite band. I actually saw them at their Cal Jam fest earlier this month (first time seeing them) and they really blew me away. I was more hyped for QOTSA that day, but Foo Fighters put on a better show by a long shot (QOTSA were still amazing). Dave Grohl can work a crowd better than any other guitarist/singer that I have seen, and Taylor Hawkins is also really charismatic. I'd imagine if they are at Sasquatch they would get a similar booking arrangement to The Cure and play an extra long set (they usually play ~3 hour sets), except hopefully people will show up to see Foo Fighters.

It seems like he just played Seattle not too long ago and he’s not one who tours everywhere all the time, so I wouldn’t necessarily read too much into this. Not that it wouldn’t be incredible if he did play, im just not getting my hopes up at this point. Hans Zimmer, on the other hand, didn’t come anywhere near the PNW on his last tour and I would literally give my left arm to see him at the Gorge.

I'm just hoping he shows up because he played during Aphex Twin at DFN and there was no way I was missing one microt of Richard D. Sloppyknockers.

In my opinion they’ve slipped into dad-rock. That said I feel the same about Red Hot Chili Peppers and they’re still incredibly popular.
