I think it's time we once again start planning for a lineup that's more aligned with End listeners' interests than Sasquatch veterans. I don't even say that for the sake of being negative. It's kind of the reality we've all been unwilling to face for a while now.

So what happens when the Sasquatch head office realizes they forgot to book any music this year? Is this why we didn't get a presale headliner like last year? Everyone thought somebody else on the team was doing the bookings. We all show up to an empty Gorge. At a certain point we may need a list of who hasn't been ruled out yet... we do but it sucks LINEUP COMING FEBRUARY 5!Rumo(u)red for SasquatchTyler, The Creator ( tour dates: plays Vancouver and Portland on his winter tour, but skips Seattle. Vince Staples supports Tyler at the Portland show, but not the Vancouver show, but a potential radius clause has more to do with the headliner than the supporting act. Yes, I'm aware Tyler played Seattle in November.) Tash Sultana ( tour dates: 5/24 in Vancouver) Maggie Rogers ( playing Red Rocks 5/28) Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats ( tour dates: skip Seattle when they tour the west coast and are free during Sasquatch) Phoebe Bridgers ( tour dates: plays Vancouver and Portland in late April on her spring US tour, but skips Seattle) Kevin Morby ( tour dates: plays Portland but skips Seattle on his spring US tour) Gang of Youths ( tour dates: Portland 5/24 and Vancouver 5/26 with no Seattle date) (Sandy) Alex G ( tour dates: skips Seattle on tour with Dr. Dog, plays Boston Calling 5/25) Lizzo ( tour dates: skipping Seattle on HAIM's spring tour, playing Red Rocks 5/28) Pond ( tour dates - rationale) Pedro the Lion ( tour dates: plays Vancouver and Portland but skips Seattle on their spring reunion tour that ends 5/24 in Missoula)

The worst part is I keep going into this loop:
Band I think would be great for Sasquatch! announces new music -> Band announces just enough dates to be likely for Sasquatch! -> Hype begins!! -> Band announces new dates that rule out Sasquatch! -> (...)

They must have changed quite a bit sometime in the 2000s. EndFest11 Mainstage: Papa Roach, Cypress Hill, Jimmy Eat World, Tenacious D, Hoobastank and Our Lady Peace. Second Stage: The Strokes, Dashboard Confessional, Finch, Vendetta Red and Hot Rod Circuit

This list on its own does not suck at all. I’d see that Fremont Fair for $30, sure

^this (but without the good stuff, like SZA and St. Vincent) Strip the headliners except Chain Smokers, and that's our lineup.
