What is the WaMu theatre like for a show? I see Jack White is playing there and it's General Admission (which seems weird for a "theatre"). Any advice for someone going if I end up with tickets? WaMu Theater? More like WaMu warehouse with a curtain. My advice is don't go there unless Portishead are playing. WaMu and SoDo are the literal worst sounding music venues I’ve ever been to.

On the contrary, I've had a handful of extremely positive concert experiences at WaMu.

Mostly electronic shows, but the surprisingly best sound I ever had in there was for The Killers back in 08 or so. The first show I ever caught there was a touring metal festival with Lamb of God, Opeth, GWAR, and about 10 other bands, and I don't particularly recall it having bad sound either. I guess all metal sounds the same though AM I RIGHT.

Good morning. In less than an hour, posters from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest online battle in this history of the internet. Internet -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps its fate that today is a few days after the bullshit 21 Pilots announcement anniversary, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist. And should we win the day, Sasquatch will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today, we celebrate.... Profits? I dunno the end really needs some work. Where are we going with this thing? What in tarnation...?

Edit for bonus info: Childish Gambino has signed a new contract with RCA and has rumors of new music coming later this year. I’m doubtful a tour is in his cards right now, but a boy can certainly continue to dream. This would be a great reason for the late lineup announcement. Snacks plz

I saw that ASAP Rocky, Tyler the Creator, Vince Staples, Danny Brown tour at WaMu and it was awful. Mostly the people. Not sure what I was expecting, though

I had a dream last night that I went to the Sasquatch lineup launch party and it was held at the Gorge. Nick was there with me, even though we've never actually hung out IRL. At first they rolled out this stage setup and the lineup announcement was going to be a live production instead of a video. Then there was a long delay for some reason so we had a bunch of adventures I don't remember clearly. The Gorge was now some kind of amusement park, but most of the rides and attractions weren't working. Finally they did the announcement but it turned out to be a video after all. It mostly just highlighted the new attractions coming to the amusement park followed by a far scrolling list of bands that would be appearing. The only names I was able to recognize were Grizzly Bear and Franz Ferdinand, and the surviving members of The Band were reuniting as the big headliner. Sooo... confirmed?

Also Stonehenge was there, and it was empty and beautiful and HG and Stormy and Burrito and I climbed onto the main stage and then the Columbia River flooded the place while Explosions in the Sky played. OK, maybe it was a different dream.

I was hoping to catch that Slayer tour, but it's kind of out of the way. It seems like basically an extension of the tour they did last summer that hit the PNW pretty thoroughly.

So what happens when the Sasquatch head office realizes they forgot to book any music this year? Is this why we didn't get a presale headliner like last year? Everyone thought somebody else on the team was doing the bookings. We all show up to an empty Gorge.
