Toro y Moi has a collab album coming out with Mattson 2 releasing next March and hasn't been to Sasquatch since 2013, figured I would add this info as a placeholder. I just ran a hot take over Bonobo's music and much like Four Tet, Todd Terje, etc. I am digging the sound. Good catch!

I'm hyped for a Bonobo dj set in the tent. His new album is coming out January 2017, too!

Last year, we had our first reported confirmation on 11/4 and four more logical artists based on tour dates by 11/10. Hopefully we get some more announcements to help us speculate soon!

Would love to see Portugal. The Man come back. They are due for a new album in the near future and their set at Maysquatch at Bigfoot was stellar.

I think we have our first logical artist for Sasquatch 2017: Bonobo! 05-11 Aspen, CO - Belly Up 05-12 Denver, CO - Red Rocks Amphitheatre 05-13 Lawrence, KS - Granada Theater 05-15 Columbia, MO - The Blue Note 05-16 St. Louis, MO - The Ready Room 05-18 Chicago, IL - Concord Music Hall 05-19 Milwaukee, WI - Turner Hall Ballroom 05-20 Madison, WI - Orpheum Theater 05-21 Minneapolis, MN - First Avenue 05-25 Vancouver, British Columbia - Commodore Ballroom Excuse my ignorance, but does the Vancouver date make them really likely? I recognize with them not having any dates after Memorial Day weekend it's a toss up, but I didn't really feed into the research portion much last year so I'm curious if that's a common stop before or after the gorge when an artist tours the area.

In years past, dates in Vancouver or Portland immediately before Sasquatch have been an indication of being billed for the festival. I was wrong last year thinking Brand New would be at Sasquatch because they had a Canadian tour that started in Vancouver immediately following Sasquatch, but most of our other guesses the past two years based on tour dates have been correct. EDIT: I only said the last two years because I've set up the Rumours/Confirmations thread the last two years, but this board has been accurately predicting artists playing the festival long before that.

Yup. 90% of the time a Portland or Vancouver date announced around the time of the fest indicates that they'll be playing.

Fuck a Bonobo DJ set. Make him break out the kit. [Live] or die.

Japandroids announced their 2017 tour with a Seattle date 03/18. This one actually hurt me a little.

Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) has a May 12th show with Bonobo at Red Rocks. This doesn't really mean much, but it's worth noting that he might be on tour with them under his new title. Also while I get that the March date doesn't rule them out they will be in London up until May and I can't imagine them swinging around just for us.

I would be 100% ok with a repeat of the Chet Faker sexy late night jams. That was one of my favorite sets from last year.

Hey gang, no real update but Thee Oh Sees has a new album out this month and I think they would make a killer likely addition for next year. Also The xx announced their new album for January 13th and would be the sweetest of headliners or subheadliners, but given how big they are I would imagine they get pooped up to headlining in 2017 if they show up. Final prediction is a Sleigh Bells return as their new album Jessica Rabbit also drops this month.

Hey gang, no real update but Thee Oh Sees has a new album out this month and I think they would make a killer likely addition for next year. Thee Oh Sees are the #1 most overdue band for Sasquatch. They are amazing, and have played literally every other festival in the world. Seeing them at my favorite Seattle venue next month. HYD

Did I say next month? Because I meant two weeks. HYDx2 I just checked them out last night and gave their tour a look. Really excited to hear their new music, and I think they would be a perfect fit for the festival.

Okeechobee Festival's lineup came out yesterday. Yeah, it's in Florida and is in early March, but it seems roughly comparable to Sasquatch size-wise and can give us an idea of what acts are playing spring festivals. I could see at least some of these ending up at Sasquatch. Thoughts?
