SHANNON AND THE CLAMSShannon Shaw - (vocals, bass) Cody Blanchard - (vocals, guitar) Nate Mahan - (vocals, drums) As per their Wiki page - Shannon and the Clams is an American, Oakland-based, indie garage punk trio. Known for a vintage sound that incorporates elements of doo-wop, classic R&B, garage psych, and surf, Shannon and the Clams has drawn comparisons to both Buddy Holly and 1960s girl groups. They also said to love "the music from the 50's oldies to 80's punk ALBUMS:I Wanna Go Home (2009) Sleep Talk (2011) Dreams in the Rat House (2013) Gone By The Dawn (2015) Genre: Surf Punk, Doo-Wop, Rock n' Roll, Strange Similar Artists: The Cramps / Hunx and His Punx / Thee Oh Sees / King Khan and the Shrines Similar Sasquatch! Artists: They seem to be in a category all their own!! Suggested ListeningAs I am new to this band and still familiarizing myself with them, I can only recommend the album that I listened to, 2015's Gone By DawnI have never seen this band live, but all I can imagine is that they are going to put on a great mid-afternoon beer drenched set filled with great happiness and warmth. I had initially chose this band because next to King Gizzard, they have one of the most unique and eye catching names on the lineup. I had no idea what to expect going into their most recent album, but I was immediately reminded of The Cramps, who I have enjoyed listening to over the years. I am highly looking forward to catching this set and I think that it will be one for the ages. shannonandtheclams.com/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shannon_and_the_Clams
