I agree! Do you think that Sasquatch will ever get a bigger tent like the Sahara at Coachella? It seems like it's not big enough a lot of the time, last year for Odesza and Glass Animals for example, it was overflowing. Sasquatch's comedy/dance tent has undergone significant improvements over the last several years - previously, it didn't have walls or ceiling lights! I've never been to Coachella, but I think the size and scope of the Sahara Tent is unrealistic at Sasquatch, despite the popularity of some artists who play the tent.

I read somewhere that the Sahara tent itself holds approximately 20,000 people. It's basically it's own self-contained EDM festival inside of Coachella. I have a feeling the tent we've had the past couple of years at Sasquatch will continue to be used from here on out. Aside from the few larger electronic artists that have played in there, I've never felt like it's been overly crowded in there.

I was wondering if getting rid of Uranus would mean making the dance tent bigger this year. But, I haven't been to sasquatch for years, so I'm not even sure what the Uranus was.

What So Not got added to Funk on the Rock and with Four Tet + Jamie XX doing both Funk on the Rocks and Sasquatch, I think they could definitely be a potential late add, thoughts? I wonder what day he would play if he was added. I suppose they could squeeze him in Monday with Four Tet and Jamie xx, but that would depend where Jamie xx and Caribou play. The electronic music on this lineup walks the line between dance tent and other stages, so it is hard to determine where people are going to play, the first 3 days especially.

I don't think it can get any wider because it pretty much starts at the paved walkway and ends at the fence but maybe they could make it longer and it would extend toward the vendors.

The Gorge capacity is somewhere around 27,000, which might be stretched with a festival. I was wondering if getting rid of Uranus would mean making the dance tent bigger this year. They could also just do a stage, but that would probably piss people off.

Would making it longer really help though? The acoustics are pretty brutal towards the end; We were at the back of the tent last year for Glass Animals and couldn't hear shit.

I don't know but maybe LiveNation should use some of the extra money they are making and hire an acoustics specialist for the Bigfoot stage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Bigfoot will never not sound like poop unless they move it back to the Banana Shack's location.

What So Not is my current favorite EDM act, his new EP is fantastic. I would explode if he was added.
I could see him with a late night Bigfoot set like Flume last year, especially since What So Not used to be 1/2 Flume.

Massive Attack just dropped a new track, obviously getting ready to announce an American leg of their tour that includes a Saturday Sasquatch headlining spot I doubt Zacks has that $$$ and that they'd agree to wait this long (other international shows have been announced and most major US festivals have been announced so no chance of gag order). 2010 was the first time I went to Sasquatch. It was incredible in so many ways. One way was dancing so hard at Simian Mobile Disco's DJ Set that I had blurry vision and needed a nearly endless amount of water, which led me down to Massive Attack. I was going to see only half of their set but was blessed enough to see most of it. Sitting on that hill is one of my 3 favorite concerts of all time.

I wonder if The Sword and Royal Thunder are potential adds. They announced a large tour and no dates in Seattle or Portland. They are playing in Spokane though. The tour ends on May 28th in Dallas. Maybe?

There's a speaker deadzone in the back/middle of the tent. You have to go pretty deep in the crowd to here it better. For Glass Animals I just went behind and it sounded way better at the entrance.

Maybe? I've been pulling for The Sword as the token metal band for years, bit I think you might need to double check your info here. All I can find for tour dates is a tour with Royal Thunder that just ended in December.

Cool. I might have to hit that Spokane show. But, being in Oklahoma and Texas Friday and Saturday of Sasquatch doesn't make me very hopeful for a late add. Especially considering they are from Texas and most likely going home after that Dallas show.

I'm 99.99% sure that Ur Anus will be there this year. Brothers from Another and Ryan Caraveo are on the lineup (small hip-hop acts from Seattle)
