There are 7 of us going to Sasquatch and we have two camping passes for the seven of us.
Can 5 of us in one car head up earlier and use both camping passes to get two spots together, but still receive the second parking pass to hand to the other two people when they arrive? In other words, can we go up separately with the two camping passes, hand our friends the receipt for one of the camping spots we have (which would not yet have the one vehicle in it), and they would still be able to get in and park in the second camping spot?
Our friends needed to come up a few our later than us but we wanted to make sure we could still get two spots next to one another.
Thank you!

No. Camping passes are one per vehicle and assigned on a first come first served basis. The only way to get two vehicles next to each other is to arrive at the same time.

So if we check in with both camping passes, but not the second car, you don't think the second car will be able to get in? Because I know they give you something to put on rear view window you can head back in still. Also, do you have to have the wristband on in order to get in, or just have it scanned? Thanks

You have to have the wristband on your wrist prior to entering the campground. Last year I made the mistake of packing them in my bag in the trunk and they made us pull over and dig them out before we could drive in.
As far as your second vehicle situation, there are two problems I see. First: if the first vehicle gets both passes, someone from that vehicle would have to stay out of the campground and wait for the second one to arrive so they could give it to them. Second: the yellow shirts won't let you hold a spot next to your first car; everyone is lined up and packed in tight as they drive in. Holding spots for another vehicle is strictly forbidden. If you somehow do manage to save enough space for them, driving through the middle of the campground in full setup mode to get to the first spot would be a bitch of the highest level.
