Brand new to this site, sorry if this has been asked a billion times - but what is the deal with the 'right wrist only' for the wristband? Would someone not be allowed entry if it is on the left wrist? Also - I'm assuming the wristband is waterproof, but is it like 'shower every day' waterproof, or 'fine in a light rain' waterproof?? Thank you!!

Thank you!! It has to do with crowd control and swiping issues. All the wrist swiping is done from the right side of your body. All security has to do to make sure you're in the right place is look at your right wrist. For the record I've seen people with the bands on the left wrist at all kinds of music festivals. It's more a guideline then a rule. But they might ask you to get a new wristband if you put yours on wrong.

Okay - phew, thank you. It's actually my son who is going, he pulled a complete bonehead move and put it on yesterday (on his left wrist), and can't take it off (of course). The wristbands are not replaceable, so now he has to wear it for like a month till the festival! That's why I was asking about the waterproof thing too, he'll be showering so I hope it wont malfunction or anything before the concert.

It's also completely waterproof, so your son can shower daily until the fest if he wants.
Disclaimer: no one here has ever worn their wristband for a whole month prior to the fest, so that much showering could potentially have an affect. However, four straight days of showering with my wristband on at Coachella didn't harm it in any way.

They'll have plenty of extra at the will call.

I should have worded it as 'they will not mail a replacement wristband' - You are correct about getting another one at the box office at the concert, but the wristband was paid for with my card, and I am not going (it's like 6 hrs from where we live, so he's SOL with that option). Thank you so much for your time and information!

Most of the people love to wear on "right wrist". They are made of silicone rubber which is very comfortable and stretchable. On the other hand waterproof depend upon the manufacturing company material and a color they used. I have ordered custom wristbands for my son's party many times from Wristbandbuddy, never face any issue, their quality of silicone and colors they used is up to the mark.
