Jeez. The board died pretty quickly this year. It's usually pure insanity after the lineup is announced. Kinda depressing.

The more I look, the more I see some gems in there. Maybe it's just because I have been dead set on this since not being able to go last year.

i'm actually super excited about this lineup. no one eye-popping, but it's really stacked. i made a 320-song playlist featuring all of the artists if anyone's interested:

Of Monsters & Men isn't a headliner at like any festival anywhere right? or am I completely underselling them?

I think the New Pornographers, Action Bronson, Ought, and Thunderpussy will be there, but I don't get it. Especially with so many fewer artist than the rest of the weekend, somebody must have dropped out, right?

Yeah there's a few acts I'd see but it definitely seems like there was a dropout (or, less likely, they still need to add someone)

Of Monsters & Men isn't a headliner at like any festival anywhere right? or am I completely underselling them? They played the Sasquatch stage at 6 pm on Friday in 2012, so the thinking is that with new material and 3 years they have done enough to make the jump. Sasquatch billing has never been about where acts fit in on other festival schedules but rather where they have been placed on previous Sasquatch Lineups

Well after taking some time to really let this sink in, I can honestly say I'm not disappointed in the lineup. Sure I'm disappointed that the two musicians I wanted to see the most (Bjork and NMH) didn't make the bill, but besides that I think that the lay out of the poster is what threw me off at first. We all knew Kendrick Lamar was a strong possibility, as well as Modest Mouse. There was talk of The Decemberists headlining as well. Robert Plant is definitely the one surprise act which Sasquatch always hands us each year. Move The Decemberists up on the poster, as well as a handful of other acts, and push Lana Del Rey down the poster a bit, below St.Vincent and a few others, and things start to look like a festival worthy of some praise. Kendrick, Modest Mouse, The Decemberists and Robert Plant, seem like decent and legit Sasquatch headliners to me. Not to mention a very exciting undercard! From Jenny Lewis to Will Butler, Pete Davidson is hysterical! And there is some some serious rap game this year as well. I'm not going to let time slots fool me into thinking that this lineup is less than worthy of Sasquatch. I'm all in for 2015... But still, r.i.p Bjorksquatch.

There is already some Sasquatch trickle down making it to Missoula. I can see The Decemberists and Ryan Adams (artists on the top 2 lines of the Sasquatch poster) each play a headlining show for about $35 a ticket at the Big Sky Brewery. $5 craft beers all night too. I may have to settle for that and get my Gorge fix later in the summer.

I quite like the lineup. I can't tell you how quickly I forgot about the headliners (With an exception of Modest Mouse) but the undercard looks really really great. I was surprised by the lukewarm response though here since I feel like this beats the 2011 lineup by a country mile. I'm looking forward to finding all the cool little bands.
With that being said, I'm really thrown off by Of Monsters and Men headlining...? That must be a mistake.
Also I saw Hot Chip is playing Monday. Which is kind of a bummer since I was really hoping for a late night set. Also becoolyolanda, I shall be there.

I'll probably still go for my 3rd year, I'll be in Australia next year anyway so I gotta get my Sasquatch in now.

Lots of the things I care about are on Monday so I hope there's not too many conflicts. It would suck to have hours of nothing to see on Friday and then have everything on Monday overlapping.
