Heylo friends. Sorry to start a new thread but I couldn't find much on this topic.
This will be my first time to a music festival that is not located in the dead heat of summer. I was curious what the weather is like during this time of year and what you might recommend to wear during the festival (and at night).
Many thanks!

Mostly we go naked during the day and huddle for warmth at night.

The weather at the gorge can and will be all over the place, so it's generally best to wear/pack layers. I'll wear shorts and a shirt or a dress in the day and bring along a sweater and leggings for when it gets cold (and it gets SUPER COLD sometimes). If you're planning on sitting on the hill for the night acts, bring something heavier or a blanket otherwise you will straight freeze your butt off. Grab a couple of those cheap rain ponchos too!

(Fancypants are also acceptable in this situation. Or really any situation. Bring them.)

Edit: that auto correct is too cool to correct.

Along the lines of weather, do try to acquire a pop-up or some shade for your campsite. There's no trees in the campsite area and the sun can get mighty mean in the mornings without proper shade.

It is not just the wind. The gorge is desert, it is a very arid climate. This means you need to be drinking much more water than your normally do. I see people every year that are not inebriated at all that get sick from dehydration because they don't realize how dry it is. So, then, the lesson is hydrate or die.
