Even if they sell out May they probably won't make much of a profit. Doing all that work for July, then cancelling and refunding it all couldn't have been cheap.
The only way I can see them adding any more to May is through shorter set times or maybe trying to squeeze another stage in somehow. I don't really see either happening.
As per usual, I'm totally talking out of my ass.

But what about the important stuff?
How are we supposed to pick the board colors for this year with everything turned on its head?!

I wonder if anyone on the Coachella boards has a financial breakdown of monies that have been lost on July. That would help out our speculation a lot.

Unless someone actually works for STG or LiveNation I highly doubt this would be out there. Far too many factors to even come up with a half decent guess.

Regardless, if you come through Seattle around the 4th, I've got a nice cold one with your name all over it my dude. Let us drown our sorrows together. Didn't even know you were from Seattle. My girlfriend and are intentionally skipping Seattle on are way to Coachella, with the plans to make a separate trip there. Maybe this is a sign to go there then. I haven't looked, I wonder if there's any good shows that weekend. To respond to the " fuck Sasquatch for the rest of eternity" sentiments...I realize this is a bummer, but to forever banning it is dumb. Sasquatch is the best, most magical place on earth, don't let Jive Nation's greed make you forget that. My fuckin dude. Gets the award for "Most Fucked", still gives Sasquatch the benefit of the doubt. Good Guy Rusty

It appears that sasquatchfestival.com is having some trouble coming to grips with the cancellation. They have removed any mention of the 4th of July weekend and where there used to be links to both lineups, there is now a "Featured Artists" section. Unfortunately, right now the featured artists are Outkast, New Order, and Soundgarden.

After seeing this I started having hope for an Atmosphere add in that gap. Then I remembered I don't know anything about Canada, and when I started looking at mapquest they are obviously going in the wrong direction to turn around and show up at Maysquatch.

Just in time to use that money for the Kraftwerk show that goes on sale a week from today. What a joke.

Yeah, I've called and emailed several times and have been given the runaround. Time for a chargeback.

Yeah, I've called and emailed several times and have been given the runaround. Time for a chargeback. I have a friend who was coming from Chicago (who can't go anymore, bless his soul) and he said that he called them and pretty much ripped the representative a new one and he received an expedited refund. He said that he got the money back into his account yesterday. So there's that..
