Hey guys, I've been to Sasquatch a bunch of times, but I have never gone just for a regular seated show before.....so I had a question, since I missed the whole "buy all the tickets" rush when the concert was announced....it seems like most of the good seats are gone, and I dont really want to spend $275 for a pit ticket, so can someone tell me a little more about the General Admission ticket? I assume its a first come first serve kind of thing, but where exactly does it start? At the squatch I remember seeing box seats at the bottom of the hill and everyone just put blankets down above it (before the fence area), is that what they mean by "lawn"/GA area? (and all the other paid seats would be in the normal "pit" flat area? Or are the seats put in on the hill and the GA area is above that? (on the crest of the hill)
Also, I saw there was camping too, was that mostly so people could party before and after the show? Or is it more of a way for people to rest up before the show because of the long drive?
Any other advice would be awesome too.

This is the seating chart from Live Nation for this show. Everything above the box seats is the GA seating. Camping is for partying and resting, depending on your mood. Whether GA is worth it or not is totally subjective.

Thanks for the reply, I have seen that chart, but I am still unclear of where the general admission actually is...as in, are the seats below the hill or on it? (It does lack an elevation chart, haha) And asking a question about other peoples opinions will always be subjective, just curious on what those peoples opinions will be to make a better informed decision

It's the entire lawn. I'm not sure how that's not clear from the image as you already know the lawn is directly above the box seats. I suppose the lawn does appear unusually small.
I've seen one show from the lawn there in the past, and it was fucking awesome.

Thanks for the reply, I have seen that chart, but I am still unclear of where the general admission actually is...as in, are the seats below the hill or on it? (It does lack an elevation chart, haha) General admission (the green area) = the hill. The area with the seats will be floor. I've never been to anything at the Gorge that wasn't Sasquatch so I can't say from experience if doing GA (aka the hill) is worth the money, but I know that at Sasquatch I like to watch most of my "must see" shows from what would be the back-middle of section 203, which is right in front of the soundbooth. Since you've been to Sasquatch, you should be able to know if you like to watch your "must see" shows from the hill or not and if you think that's worth doing this time.

I think that seating chart pretty much spells it out for you. Although, the actual lawn area is much larger than the seating map lets on. If you have been to the gorge at all, you pretty much know what areas have grass, and that is general admission. I've been to a couple seated shows at the Gorge, and both times I was in the seats, sitting on uncomfortable metal folding chairs. If you end up in GA, you should probably get there as early as possible to get a spot that you want. I think a real picture may be much more helpful. You can see the floor area where they put seats, and the grass area, which is general admission.
