Song that made me buy my first album: Weezer - "Buddy Holly." Used to hear it all the time on the radio when I was a little guy. I eventually bought the album when I was about 7 or 8.
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": Lana Del Rey - "Born to Die." I love the title track but the album was so disappointing. At least I was able to give it to my sister after.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: The National - "England"
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Katy Perry - "Roar"
Song you wish you would never hear again: Macklemore - "Thrift Shop"
Song I always come back to: Radiohead - "How to Disappear Completely"
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: M83 - "Midnight City." My experience at that show during this song was horrendous. So many fucking people trying to push through just for this song, only to promptly leave after. Can't listen to it without thinking about that experience, which is a damn shame because the saxophone solo is glorious.
