It's just one song.
Song that made me buy my first album: Sublime - Santeria. I knew the song was by Sublime, and I knew I wanted to buy the album; problem was I had no idea what the name of the song was so I ended up buying 40 Oz. to Freedom by mistake. Turned into one of my favorite albums.
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: M83 - We Own the Sky.
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball.
Song you wish you would never hear again: MIA - Paper Planes (I have some kind of hatred toward MIA that I can't explain).
Song I always come back to: The National - Apartment Story. I go through National fits during the winter, and winter lasts a long time.
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: MGMT - Kids. Time to Pretend is better anyway.
I need to go to sleep: Wilco - Full catalog.

Song you wish you would never hear again: Baha Men - 'Who Let the Dogs Out?' because duh.
Song I always come back to: NOFX - 'Life O'Riley'
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Eminem - 'My Name Is' OOPs
I need to go to sleep: Mountains - 'Propeller'

Song that made me buy my first album: If we're talking about our own money, it was Dead Kennedys - "California Über Alles." Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables was fucking pivotal in my musical development. (Note: the first time I bought an album, I bought two. So the other answer for this question is "Wonderboy" by Tenacious D. Because mucky-muck.)
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": Phoenix - "Love Like A Sunset." Brilliant, brilliant song. But, uh, yeah. The rest of the album is Phoenix.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: Doves - "Catch the Sun"
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Taylor Swift - "Never Ever Getting Back Together"
Song you wish you would never hear again: Harry Nilsson - "Coconut." Fuck this song. Fuck this song with a rusty pitchfork. I despise every syllable.
Song I always come back to: Kraftwerk - "Autobahn"
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Green Day - "American Idiot." Whatever, it just blew up and became the raging anarchist theme song. Even though it's a stupid pop song. Ugh.
I need to go to sleep: Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Volume II

Song that made me buy my first album: Beastie Boys - "No Sleep Till Brooklyn"
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": Jet - "Are You Gonna Be My Girl"
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: Explosions in the Sky - "The Birth and Death of the Day"
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Katy Perry - "Roar"
Song you wish you would never hear again: Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody"
Song I always come back to: Pearl Jam - "Black"
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Blur - "Song 2" - Don't get me wrong, I LOVE BLUR!!! But I don't want to hear Blur pump up 20,000 hockey fans.
I need to go to sleep: Sigur Ros - ( ) - The whole freakin' album.

Song that made me buy my first album: Seal - Kiss from a Rose. First heard it on Batman Forever and became a huge fan in my wee little days. Although, my parents purchased his first two albums for me since I was only 9 or so. The song that led to me purchasing my first album with my own money was Korn's "Falling Away from Me" off their Issues album.
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": The Very Best - Warm Heart Of Africa (Feat. Ezra Koenig). One of the lower-tiered bands that played Sasquatch 2010. This song was one of my favorite songs of that year, but the rest of the album unfortunately fell flat and I haven't really heard much about them since.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Paramore - Still Into You
Song you wish you would never hear again: Alex Clare - Too Close. I don't think I've ever hated a song or artist so much in my entire life. Fuck that guy.
Song I always come back to: Brand New - The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows. Screw credibility. I never had any anyway. I find myself returning to this song more frequently than any song I've ever listened to. Something about it provides the greatest sense of nostalgia ever to me. A couple of close seconds would be The National's "Slow Show" and Sigur Ros' "Samskeyti."
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Cee Lo Green - Fuck You.
I need to go to sleep: Eluvium - Radio Ballet

Song that made me buy my first album: One of the singles from Enema of the State - Blink 182.
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": Hang Me Up to Dry - Cold War Kids.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: I don't understand this one. How is this different from the final question? I don't pass out (unintentionally) so, Girl Talk or something.
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Hello - Martin Solveig & Dragonette. I'm not really embarrassed though, I think it's a great song. Also the video is fantastic.
If that's not current enough then, Can't Hold Us - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. (aside, I looked up the top 40 to pick one, and Macklemore has THREE songs on there!)
Song you wish you would never hear again: Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas, though when I hear it somewhere in a bar or whatever, I sing this version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCGmjmazE5c) in my head and it makes the murderous urges a little easier to deal with.
Song I always come back to: Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd.
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Most singles by Vampire Weekend.
I need to go to sleep: I don't listen to music to help with sleep, but probably some EITS or something.
I typed too much. Maybe I'll edit when sober.

Song that made me buy my first album: "Seven Nation Army" - The White Stripes
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": "Reflektor" - Arcade Fire /semi board suicide
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: "Champagne Supernova" - Oasis
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: "Burn" - Ellie Goulding
Song you wish you would never hear again: "Just the Way You Are" - Bruno Mars
Song I always come back to: "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" - Spiritualized
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: "Pumped Up Kicks" - Foster the People. In October 2010, Foster the People and Twin Shadow were the first two bands to be rumored for Sasquatch 2011. Nobody knew Foster the People yet - their debut EP wouldn't be released for 3 more months. Their MySpace page listed the tour date @ Sasquatch, and you could download "Pumped Up Kicks" for free. I thought it was a pretty cool track. Little did I know they would blow up.
I need to go to sleep: "Heart" - Stars

Good idea monsieur Gibbons! Song that made me buy my first album: No Doubt "Don't Speak" Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": Montell Jordan "This Is How We Do It". Wait no...I found this CD in the bushes when I was a lowercase g. You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: Massive Attack "Paradise Circus" Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Well, I sure have been singing "Blurred Lines" a little too much for my comfort this weekend. Song you wish you would never hear again: James Taylor "Ananas" Song I always come back to: Rilo Kiley "More Adventurous" (C'mon, you knew there would be some Jenny Lewis on my list. Also my shower singing song!) Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Kings of Leon "Sex on Fire" To be fair to the douchebags, I knew the first time I heard that song that it was going to get ridiculous, but damn! That "OHHHHHHHHH". I need to go to sleep: Do the Dragon Tattoo books on tape count as a song? Seriously Davers, you don't like the rest of that Cold War Kids album? "Saint John"? "We Used to Vacation" Really? Man, that album is the reason that I still go and watch festival sets by those guys.

I bought that album partially because I liked that song and partially because they were playing Sasquatch. Then I saw their Sasquatch set and thought they sucked. That might have had something to do with it. Also, I was fairly drunk when I wrote that and it was the first thing that fit the profile while scrolling through ichunes. I bet somewhere past 'C' there is something that works better.

Song that made me buy my first album: "Hello time bomb" by Matthew Good Band. I believe the album was big shiny chunes 4 and I think that its buried in my closet somewhere.
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": "Pushing me" by Slaves on dope. I was 13 or 14 and was at my first concert. I think it was called Hullabaloo or something like that but it was headlined by The Offspring. Anyway, they were the first band up and sounded incredible so I bought the album. It sucked, the song on the album sucked, after listening to it a few times I realized the band sucked too. I learned a hard lesson that day. Live music and recorded music are rarely the same thing.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: Chvrches - "Tether"
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Coldplay - "Paradise"
Song you wish you would never hear again: Lorde - "Royals". I swear it plays every 15 minutes on the peak.
Song I always come back to: The National - "England"
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: Foster the People - "Pumped up kicks"
I need to go to sleep: M83 - "Hurry up, we're dreaming"

It's just one song.
Song that made me buy my first album: With my own money it was The Fragile and the song, "The Day the Whole World Went Away."
Song that made you buy an album and wonder, "Why did I buy that album?": I can't honestly say I've ever regretted an album purchase as a whole. Maybe I've just lucked out so far.
You are 5 minutes from passing out and you find yourself with a set of headphones: Devotchka- How it Ends
Current song that you are embarrassed to like. Because, you know, we all have those people in our lives that make us listen to the radio: Miley Cyrus - Party in the USA
Song you wish you would never hear again: The Killers - Runaways
Song I always come back to: The Mountain Goats - Hast Thou Considered the Tetrapod. The Sunset Tree is my favorite album, I have a signed and locked up vinyl copy that I have after meeting John Darnielle after a show. We had a similar childhood and I remember one time very similar to this song that my Dad rushed into my room and started choking me. The triumphant defiance at the end of the song is always something I cling on to, because yes, I finally have wriggled up on dry land.
Song you liked until you found out all the douchebags liked it: I am pretty much word for word with the Gibbons on this one.
I need to go to sleep: Israel Kamakawiwo'ole- Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Im too lazy to do all of them.
How about one song with a weird sexual memory?
First time I was pleasured orally was to Ozzy Osborne - I just want you. Not a big fan of the song, but it brings a smile to my face...
