Eh, I actually consulted a rhyming dictionary. But I'm pretty sure I found the best combo of rhyming words that could have possibly existed in that situation. So....rhyming chose me? Just like Bubba Sparks? Or "And you know my name is F.I.G."

This is actually pretty sweet for me. The timing of Sasquatch always really sucks for me at work and I thought there was going to be pretty much zero chance of me going next year. Now the second one is perfect for me. If the lineup is even remotely decent, I will totally head down for secondsquatch.

I don't see how ticket prices wouldn't drop at least a little bit. I doubt they'll drop 80 bucks but I'd expect them to fall slightly under 300. I would guess that they would be exactly the same as this year. I mean they sold out in 90 minutes and plently of people bought scalped tickets for $450 plus. I don't think they would have any problem selling tickets at $350 again. You guys are insane if you think tickets will be around $350 again. Presale was $300 last year. If presale is over $250 I'll be pissed. Coachella is $350 for the same amount of days. As much as I love Sasquatch, it is not Coachella. Not even close. They would need to put together two amazing lineups to think that they could get away with charging Coachella prices.

My guess was around 290 with fees added in or somewhere around 85-90 per day.

$290 seems possible after the lineup comes out, but it would have to be a pretty good lineup. Presale has had a $20-$40 discount off of regular sale in the past, so I'd expect something like that again.

Lol @ you guys thinking prices will go down next year. I'll happily eat my words if they do, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen.

They have to sell twice as many tickets and there is one less day...
I think tickets will go up in price in the day by day cost but I would be absolutely shocked if they didn't drop a bit overall. They would either have an amazing lineup or an incredible amount of hubris to do that.

Livenation has more hubris in regard to ticket prices/fees than anyone should legally be allowed to.

They would either have an amazing lineup or an incredible amount of hubris to do that. I think that if the format for 2013 was kept for 2014 the ticket prices would have gone up again. I mean why wouldn't they, they sold out in 90 minutes and caused a panic which made people purchase tickets for $450+. So, keeping the price the same as last year is an effective price drop from what it would have been. I think they could sell out both festivals at $350 (not in 90 minutes, but eventually) so what's to stop them from doing that. $290 seems like very very wishful thinking to me, but I hope I'm wrong.

They won't but it would be nice to do a package deal 500 for both weekends pre-sale, that way it can be an even grand for my gf and I to pickup tickets for both weekends...If it costs any more we will have to make the tough choice of picking one over the other...

I can definately see them doing something like $350 for 1 festival / $600-650 for both festivals (regular sale). Maybe a bit cheaper if you are purchasing pre-sale (before the line-ups come out)

There is no way tickets will be $350 for this, before or after the lineup comes out. Coachella costs that much. Even with last years lackluster lineup Coachella had 4 previous Sasquatch headliners along with another 5-ish that would headline if they played Sasquatch.
Cbats is probably right, it might cost more per day than last year, but the overall cost won't be more than last year.

I really do appreciate Snacks openness and honesty. He's under no obligation to answer anyone and yet I received these TWO tweets from him today... Faith restored. Sure one could argue "of course he's gonna say that" but the thing is he didn't have to say anything. Snacks you da'man!
