Agreed. Dirty Projectors' placement is definitely my biggest disappointment this year. They are so much better than 2:00. Isn't that a downgrade from their 2010 appearance? My memory is kinda fuzzy but I thought they had an early evening slot then. For me, the upside of a 2:00 slot is that there's less chance for conflicts since it's likely I wouldn't have heard of any of the other bands playing at that time. It looks like that's going to be the case since after a quick look at who's projected to be on the Sasquatch and Yeti stages at that time, I don't know who any of those people are. Win for me since I like Dirty Projectors and would like to see them.

Sometimes it's not entirely based on billing, but on schedule. Maybe they have to leave early.

I remember Dirty Projectors partially conflicted with LCD Soundsystem last time. I don't know what stage they were on though. Maybe they had a tiny crowd. Not surprising though, you'd have to have been crazy to see anything but LCD.

Pretty happy I'll get to see them this time around.

Ah yes, that was a bad conflict on paper, but really it wasn't even a conflict. LCD Soundsystem > your band

I am one crazy son of a bitch.
But yeah, DP could be playing in the afternoon because Dave knows that his music is some sunny afternoon shit.

You'd have to have been crazy to see anything but LCD. Have me committed! But for the record, you were still able to catch almost all of the LCD set and then head over to Dirty Projectors. Or you could have seen all of LCD and only missed the first song or two of DP's set. I left after the first 30 minutes of the LCD set cause I just don't get what everyone thinks is so interesting and special about LCD (I realize I am in the extreme minority on this one). I am sad that I didn't see the Teen Wolf dance, though.

I saw all of LCD and then got over to DP in time to only miss a few songs. I switched over to A-Trak after that though and didn't get to see the end of their set.

I was smack in the middle of the pit and remember seeing a few people start this, and a couple minutes later I looked back on the hill and the entire crowd was doing it in unison. I think Sasquatch '10 sent LCD Soundsystem off into their hiatus pretty well, I'm sure that was one of their most memorable moments of the last tour.

I remember watching the whole thing from the hill. It was incredible. I would have loved to be down there but my state of mind was not letting me stand up at the time haha.

That is hands down one of my best memories from being at the gorge. So much fun!

I was right in the middle, not in the pit and not on the hill, which ended up being the perfect view once everyone turned to look up the hill and everybody on the hill was looking down on the pit..Def one of the best shows I have ever seen at the gorge as well..

That was very magical. I remember it was at the warmest point of the day and shorty in to their set it started sprinkling rain, just enough to cool everyone down and then it went away and got sunny.

That is hands down one of my best memories from being at the gorge. So much fun! It was one of those magical Sasquatch moments with an amazing sunset going down to the west, James Murphy's energy, and of course the crowd that would be hard to beat anywhere. 2010 was just chock full of memories.

I have, quite literally, the exact same memory. If you remember being in the vicinity of a girl on a guy's shoulders pouring a beer all over a second guy's face during "Drunk Girls," that was me.

That sounds oddly familiar, so I must have been pretty close by. It's blended in with some of the 10,000 other random Sasquatch memories from the past 5 years.

Bloody hell. What time does the Bigfoot usually start? How the hell am I going to drag my sorry ass in there first thing on Monday in time for CHVRCHES?

1:00 if I remember correctly. It's going to be really tough, I hope they get moved to a later slot.

Yea I am sure Monday's are brutal after a weekend like that. I don't see myself getting sick of music that weekend though. This board is active today.

Man, Monday is rough enough to begin with. Yikes.
CHVRCHES > Dirty Projectors > Twin Shadow is one heck of an early afternoon on the Bigfoot though. Hope I have at least a little energy left.
