Bloody hell. What time does the Bigfoot usually start? How the hell am I going to drag my sorry ass in there first thing on Monday in time for CHVRCHES? My 2011 schedule (because who the fuck got a 2012 schedule?) says the Bigfoot starts at noon. Here I thought FD and I were going to be the only ones at the early Dirty Projectors set. I would really like to enjoy that show with you dude, since we have nothing else in common.

Where do you guys think Toro will play? From the leaked stage placements we got from looking at the lineup page's source code, Toro was in at El Chupacabra (supposed new name for the dance tent).

I don't think I've ever got my ass out to the festival grounds before 2pm in the past. My friends usually don't want to go in until 3 or 4 but sometimes I go ahead alone. Gonna try to do that every day this year in hopes I'll discover some new bands through their live show.

Has anyone done any internet detective work to find out what's going on with Vampire Weekend's placement? In the past there were only four bands on the Bigfoot on Fridays, and Vampire Weekend is a fifth. I'm crossing my fingers that they're going to be in a late night slot and won't conflict with anything else. Any other option doesn't seem right.

Did you guys post anything about the source code thingy somewhere? That would be so rad if Vampire Weekend played Bigfoot, but it would be packed as hell.

I've had a theory that's yet to be proven or disproven, that every night will have a late night set until 1:00am at Bigfoot. Vampire Weekend on Friday, Rusko on Monday.

My theory is that this tentative schedule posted on page 1 (which is not the definitive schedule) represents Zacks realizing that some people may not see Macklemore as the headliner they may have thought a Friday night deserves and so Vampire Weekend on a different stage with a cross over time provides a more than decent alternative. Not everyone from the NW enjoy what Macklemore brings to the table so it's not a demotion for Vampire Weekend from their last gig here, just a different view and choice. Gives the people headliner options.

What was it that tipped Snacks off to Macklemore not being good enough as a headliner? The instant sellout of the festival? The month he spent at the top of the charts? Performing on SNL? I can't say I'm a fan of his but there's not question that Snacks is happy with his decision right now.
More importantly, Macklemore and Vampire Weekend have very very similar audiences. If Snacks wanted to counter program against Macklemore he would pick someone that would draw a different crowd. A big EDM show or something like Primus would be much better choices.
