2 of the people in Miike Snow are successful producers who have made songs for Britney Spears, Madonna, Kylie Minogue and more. Not saying that means anything to you, but they're pretty successful dudes.
I in no way advocate driving that far to see them though. The Miike Snow show at sasquatch was meh and they're much more talented when they aren't in that band.

Based on your list, opossum, I definitely think you should check out Matthew Dear. He seems to sort of fit your general taste and I for one cannot wait for his set!

I enjoy both of them but they just didn't quite make my top ten.

10. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 9. Preservation Hall Jazz Band 8. The Tallest Man On Earth 7. Dirty Projectors 6. Divine Fits 5. Built to Spill 4. Vampire Weekend 3. Elvis Costello & the Imposters 2. The Postal Service 1. Andrew Bird
Fail my list if you choose, but I don't have much exposure to Sigur Rós or Primus. I intend on seeing both sets, and they might end up on my Top 10 Sets of the Festival list, but neither act is one of my most anticipated acts.

All failed lists will be denied Sasquatch wristbands, and if you somehow manage to acquire one anyways through alternative methods, drunk Geno in a Sasquatch suit will straight up rip that shit off your wrist.

Edited Solange and Empire of the Sun out and Matthew Dear and Chvrches in, as well as a little rearranging.
1. Sigur Ros 2. John Talabot 3. The Presets 4. Built to Spill 5. Disclosure 6. Vampire Weekend 7. Chvrches 8. Elliott Brood 9. Grimes 10. Matthew Dear
Death Grips, Twin Shadow, Dropkick Murphys, and The Tallest Man on Earth would have all been in there had I not seen them before.

A lot of talk about John Talabot has been going on here. I like him but is he just really incredible live or something?

Can someone recommend a starting point for John Talabot? I've never gotten into him.

A lot of talk about John Talabot has been going on here. I like him but is he just really incredible live or something? When I saw him live he had Pional with him on stage. It was a wicked good show and had a lot of live drumming. I can vouch for it being a must see. It isn't a "push play" act. I don't know if Pional will be with him or not though at Sasquatch. Can someone recommend a starting point for John Talabot? I've never gotten into him. I have only heard fin. Did you give that album a listen all the way front to back?
