Did ya'll see that shoot out try where the guy turned his stick upside down on top of the puck, and pushed it into the ice the entire way, then did a spin move in front of the goalie and tried to throw it in backside? It was a really nice save, but a completely awkward and cool way to try to score.
Shootouts are exciting in hockey these days, so I always turn on the games I see are in OT.
The announcer mentioned it was a minor league move. It almost worked, but if you're the goalie at that point, you have to f.igure you can lay down and it won't go in. It's not like he was going to get the puck lifted.
I have the hockey package, so when I'm home checking out the fantasy squad, and see the OT games, I always change the channel. It's about the only non-playoff excitement in hockey these days.
