That's funny, because that is one trade offer I regret because I offered way too much. I offered my top two penalty minutes guys who are also offensive studs for your 13th and 15th round picks (one of which isn't even 100% owned). Clarkson is 6th in the NHL in Shots On Goal, and Souray is 8th in the NHL in Plus/Minus. I must have been drunk last night.
So no, I'm not interested in your counter, because the return for Clarkson/Souray is much less. This is a situation I mentioned a couple weeks ago in which you are overvaluing your players, and undervaluing mine, so a deal won't work out.
I looked more thoroughly and you might be right if you look strictly at the numbers for the season, you wouldn't get much benefit offensively. However, for the last 7 and 15 days playing, my players have been significantly stronger in terms of goals and assists - two stats you could use help in the area of. Also, though not a huge difference, my players do have more ice time than the ones I'm asking for - both recently and historically. The only stat in which I'd be benefiting from this transaction on is PIM, which you've got coming out your ass. Maybe my players continue to play strongly offensively.. maybe yours start to perform again. Anyway, there was my thinking. Its based entirely on numbers, not necessarily on perceptions or feelings on the players. Actually, my players have out performed yours offensively for the last 30 days skating.. its only when we take the entire season into consideration that they are about even.

It seems my two best goalies recently have played against each other every other night, then I realized my two best goalies have literally played against each other every other night. How in the fuck do Phoenix and Anaheim play three straight games? Are the schedule makers that stupid?
Not only did my two best goalies play each other three games in a row, but they each play my third goalie twice between today and next Saturday. That's seven times in fourteen days my goalies played against each other.
