I went, I saw, I raged, I romanticized, I remembered why Sasquatch is the greatest festival on Earth.
Thank you to every single one of you who made the last 5 days of my life ones that I will never forget.
Personal Highlights: Group hugs during "We Are Going to Be Friends" & "Lost Cause" Glowpeacalypse Glowpocalypse Being picked up and manhandled by the Albertans Crazy funky dance parties
No, but seriously (sorry to get sentimental)...this board is composed up of some of the sweetest, most generous and fun people I have met. I adore all of you.

Just had an amazing breakfast with my camp friends and now I've parted ways. The tears are flowing. I'm so upset right now. By far the best Sasquatch yet.

I thought it would be several years if 2010's lineup was going to be topped, but this year was just plain incredible and it's now the lineup to beat.
Friday was a lot less of a throwaway day than last year even though we left about 20 minutes into Pretty Lights' set. He just couldn't match Girl Talk's energy and intensity. Of Monsters and Men were amazing. Santigold got the energy ramped up very well for GT.
The first band I saw Saturday was Alabama Shakes, and as good as they were it only got better from there. Emily Haines and the rest of Metric just made me grin from ear to ear. I deviated from my plan to watch Tune-yards and St. Vincent and skipped the latter entirely to catch the end of the Shins and to get closer for Jack White. He played all three of the songs I desperately wanted to hear. Fucking amazing. It broke my heart to skip most of the Roots but I was very exhausted by midnight.
Sunday was a pretty weak lineup but Howlin Rain and Wild Flag were great. I never imagined Carrie from Portlandia could rock that hard. Other than that we caught James Murphy while thousands of others were likely comatose at the Sasquatch stage for Bon Iver. That was second only to Girl Talk as far as dance parties went.
Monday's Sasquatch stage lineup was so stacked that I never left all day. Joy Formidable were excellent as expected and Feist through the D were very solid as well. As a huge Beck fan, I'm not quite sure why he played that kind of setlist at a festival, but it was good regardless. My friends were bored to tears during his set though.
In general I dislike most of humanity, but going to Sasquatch always makes me reevaluate that position. Maybe it's just all the kind hearted Canadians that seem to make up half of the attendance. Everyone we met this year was not an asshole and were generally chill people. This might have been my last year going and if it was, what a way to go out.

What a year! Sucks that Mogwai wasn't there but at least Spiritualized blew that tiny crowd out of the water. Other highlights for me were Cloud Cult, Mark Lanegan, Explosions In the Sky and Jack White. Too many to mention that were fantastic
