Good call. Nobody likes hanging out in Pheonix's airport. I'm not even lying. Phoenix actually is my favorite airport. Such nice views. Wireless everywhere. I love it. If I remember correctly, its the one with nothing to do. I get my American airports mixed up though.

Fair enough. Also, I've only flew on Southwest once as an adult and that was from Coachella home and it was by far the worst flight of my life so probably never again.

My worst flight ever was definitely the one hour flight I took from Vancouver to Calgary after the Canada day weekend last year. I barfed as soon as the seat belt light turned off. Barfing in a airplane bathroom is super uncomfortable, you're heaving all sideways and awkward... pulled something in my back. Then the flight attendant was mean becuase she said I should have gotten "assessed" before the flight.. HANGOVERS ARENT CONTAGIOUS, BITCH.

I've decided I'll buy a ticket of it works with my visa debit. I don't have a credit card besides that and I don't want to put it on someone else's this time. I'm just going to leave it up to fate.

What the hell kind of expectations do you have when flying? I was on that exact same flight and aside from departing 20 minutes late because of a simple troubleshooting issue, it was a perfect flight.

Ya some have half decent pubs or spas! I was stuck for hours... could have used a massage or a manicure or ANYTHING to kill the time.

I had a nice Blue Moon at some place while I was waiting there with a nice view of whatever mountains were right outside the airport. I can't complain. Granted, I was only there for 2 hours.

I must have been on the boring side of the airport, then.

I guess so. I think I had to do a lot of exploring to find that anyway. This was a connecting flight between LA, where things kinda fell to shit, and Seattle for Sasquatch. And I desperately needed a beer during my wait, so I did a lot of searching.

On a service trip me and a buddy pounded shots of tequila in the Minneapolis airport and then run up and down the trippy willy wonka tunnel.

Weekend 1 and camping. I also think I successfully convinced JDawg and Saranater to camp as well.

How much are plane tickets to Coachella from Portland usually? Most who fly into the area have to pay rental car fees on top of flight fees, yet they save on gas money. I have friends in Medford, San Jose, and Desert Springs, so I'll be staying there Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, which is why I won't meet up with any of you. However, if you can find a boarder to pick you up at the airport, and let you camp with them for the weekend, I can give you a ride back to Portland after the festival for free. We'll have to stop in San Jose Monday night to BBQ with my homie, and you'll have to drive the next day so I can get sauced, but it's an option.

And wonk is a stand-up guy. If this works for you, message him.
