They actually recently had to change their name to Ghost BC for legal reasons. Also, remove Modestep from your list. They are a nu-metal dubstep band. I saw them at Freaknight and they were one of the worst bands I've ever seen in my entire life.
Yeah, Pea told me about Ghost. The Zune pass had about 18 bands named Ghost, so I couldn't f.igure out which was which. They are already an early day can't miss. Some of my favorite Coachella sets are bands who have no reason to be on the lineup (Aquabats!).
Modestep sounds like a terrible band. They would have been one of the last I tried out because of their name. Now I might give them a chance. I love a train-wreck.
Jessie Ware Action Bronson (Coming up next) Baauer Pusha T 2Chainz (I hear he is famous) Descendents (coming up next) Sparks
These bands (minus Baauer) are all not EDM and worth checking out at least. Jessie Ware is starting to get radio play out here and will likely be famous before too long. Her album Devotion is really good though. Action Bronson sounds like Ghostface Killah rapping about food so take from that what you will. Bauuer is obviously famous for the Harlem Shake but his music is pretty good in general. Your enjoyment probably depends on your tolerance for trap music. Check out the song Higher that he did with Just Blaze. Pusha T's new mixtape is solid but really you should just go to his set and hope that he plays Clipse songs. 2Chainz is a rapper who gets by almost completely on charisma so I imagine his live show is at least worth wandering by. His guest appearances are better than his album. Descendents and Sparks are both semi-legendary bands in their own right and worth checking out if you have the time.
Prydz, Benassi and Fedde are all EDM artists worth a couple minutes of your time. I've been waiting to see Prydz forever and he is one of the acts I am most excited about it. Benassi has two super-duper huge songs "Satisfaction" and "Cinema", plus a ton of great stuff. Fedde was one of my favorite Sahara artist in 2011 and I'm pumped to see him again, although he hasn't really done a heck of a lot in two years.
Pusha T is worth a couple minutes of your time, especially if he is doing a mid-afternoon set with not much else going on. He used to be in the awesome group Clipse and has a pretty decent solo thing going running around with Kanye.
2Chainz is worth checking out for the spectacle.
